Crush (Chapter 11) A week later Tiffani watched Justin closely as he slept on the sofa in the front of the bus area. The tour was finally over, and they were all heading back to Orlando. He stirred on the sofa, trying to make himself more comfortable. "Hey guys...our last stop." Lonnie announced as he pulled up in front of a Burger King. "Grub out everyone. Meet me back here in an hour." he parked the bus, and turned the engine off. Tiffani kneeled beside Justin, and tapped him on the arm. "Justin? We've stopped." he groaned, slowly fluttering his eyes open. "Hey...um...you hungry? We stopped at a Burger King." he slowly sat up, and rubbed his tired eyes. "Cool." he stood up, and checked his pockets for his wallet. Lance stepped off the bus with Michelle and headed towards the entrance of the Burger King. "So...I had fun on tour with you guys. I didn't know it would be so much fun. I don't even miss home one bit." he chuckled, and pulled the door open for her. "Well...I do. I miss my lady." he followed her inside the building. "I can't wait until tomorrow. We're BACK home." "Dude...don't play like that, man." Chris complained. JC laughed his head off as he kept his gaze on Chris. "You think that's real funny, huh? If I did that to you...you wouldn't be laughing." he spoke angrily. "Joey play too damn much." "Man stop your whining. It's not like you don't play, Mister Crazy." he chuckled, entering the restaurant. "Whatever." he followed him inside. Justin stuffed his wallet in his back pocket as he proceeded towards the restaurant. "Hey." Tiffani jogged up towards him. "Why are you in such a rush?" "Why do you keep bothering me? I thought I made it clear when I said to leave me alone." he pulled the door open, and entered the restaurant. "You didn't actually think I was gonna listen to that." she chuckled pathetically. "I mean...come on. Be mature about this." he stood behind the counter, waiting for a cashier to take his order. "Hey. Welcome to Burger King, Mister Timberlake. How may I take your order?" an African American woman asked. "Um...hook me up with the number ten. Medium and my drink will be a coke." she took the order. "Five sixty-three is your total, sir." he pulled out his wallet. "I'm guessing you don't take credit cards." she chuckled softly. "No we don't sir. We haven't gotten that advanced yet." he nodded understandingly. "That's okay. Here's a ten. Keep the change." he smiled sincerely. "Thank you." she rung his order in the register and handed him a receipt. "Here you go. They are putting a rush on your order." he smiled as he accepted the receipt. "You have pretty eyes. Are they real? I mean..." "Yeah they're real." his eyes lit up. "Cool. I just...met this woman about two weeks ago and...she had very BLUE eyes. But they weren't real. That's why I asked you that." she leaned over the counter, allowing him to get a good look at her chest area. "You know...too bad you're engaged." she spoke teasingly. "I'm single...still looking. You would be the perfect one for me." he blushed. "Really? And...why would I be?" Tiffani rolled her eyes as she watched the lady flirt with him. "Because...you're all the man that I need, and...I KNOW I'm all the woman that you need. Everything here...is real." she chuckled softly. "Hmm. Well...too bad I'm engaged, but...I'll have to turn down that offer. I'm really...not attracted to brunette girls. And plus...Alexia is all that I need. I'm too in love to mess things up now. Sorry." she frowned. "Aw. Well...maybe in the next life time." he chuckled. "Here's your food." she handed him a bag and a cup full of coke and ice. "Enjoy." he smiled warmly. "Thank you sweetie. Stay sweet." she blushed massively. "No. You stay sexy." he bit the bottom of his lip, and turned, heading towards the exit of the building. "Later." he spoke without looking back. Tiffani rolled her eyes, and followed Justin out the building. "Can you tell me what that was all about in there?" she spoke angrily. He ignored her and stepped on the bus. "HELLO? Am I even TALKING here?" she followed him on the bus. "Justin...seriously? What was that all about?" "I don't know what the hell you're talking about." he pulled out his fries, and began to demolish them. She slouched on the sofa beside him, and held her head down. "I don't get some of you men sometimes. You always try to flirt with other women when you KNOW you're NOT available." he rolled his eyes and gulped down his coke. "Don't start with that bullshit. You shouldn't even be the one talking. You ARE just like that chick out there. You KNEW I WAS with Alexia, but you STILL came on to me. You even SNUCK in my damn suite. How desperate was that? I DON'T WANNA HEAR ANYTHING YOU HAVE TO SAY...EVER! You disgust me right about now. I thought you were different than the other women. I thought I could trust you. You've been our back up dancer since we came out, and you NEVER TRIED any shit like this. Now all of a sudden...when I'm in love with someone else...you wanna try to ruin what I have. TOO BAD we never gotten together. Okay? But...you can't mess up things for me just because you FUCKED up your life. I TRIED getting with you before...but you were too STUCK on that bastard who abused you, and fucked you whenever you weren't in the mood for it." he spoke angrily. "YOU HAD YOUR CHANCE...but you screwed it up. Now would you at least...let me get on with my life?" he threw his food in the bag, and stood up. "I'm not hungry anymore." she watched him enter the bunk area. She slowly held her head down as tears filled up her eyes. "Tiff...you
okay?" Jenna sat beside her and comforted her. She continued crying silently.
"Shhh. Everything's gonna be okay. Stop crying. Trust me...he's not worth crying
for. He's nothing but a loser to me. Don't let him get the best of you." she
assured. Joey dialed a familiar number and held his cell phone to his ear. "Hello?" a voice answered. "Katrina?" he responded. "Um...hello, Joey. It's been a while." he held a confused look. "Who is this?" he took a seat at the table in the front of the bus area. "It's not important." she paused. "Um...remember that night I lost my virginity to you? Wasn't it great? I missed being with you though." his eyes lit up as he realized who it was. "Latise? What the hell are you doing at my house? Where's Katrina? Put her on the phone now." he demanded. She chuckled pathetically and took a seat on the sofa, watching television. "She's here...cooking. I told her we dated before." he gasped. "Don't worry. I cleared things out. Maybe I should tell her about our little secret that happened on that night of the 26th of June." "Don't you dare tell her." she giggled. "I'm serious, Kelley." "Hmm." she sat further on the sofa, and tilted her head back, keeping her gaze on a picture of him hanging on the wall. "I must say...she is pretty. But how could you leave me because you found out I was pregnant with your child? I think that is really unfare. You STAYED with her when you found out she was pregnant." she slowly sat up on the sofa. "Tise...you know that wasn't the reason. You knocked me upside the head with a vase JUST because you caught me talking to a fan IN my hotel suite. You're a psycho, woman." she broke out laughing. "Don't you dare try to put all of this shit on me. But...I do think it won't be such a bad idea to tell her that's how we broke up. Oh maybe I could say...when you found out I was pregnant...you left and NEVER came back. Then...when I met up with you a few years later...you were with another woman...who was pregnant with your child. Oh and I'll throw in the affair thingy. I bet she would believe every word I say." "Latise...you're so pathetic. You can't try to ruin people's lives because you ruined yours. That's not being cool at all. You will never get a man acting like that." "Ha...the only man I want now is YOU. I want you back. And you better do a whole lot of thinking because I will be here tomorrow waiting for your arrival. And if you haven't made your mind up by then...I'm just gonna have to release the WHOLE truth about you and me. 'Til then...enjoy your freedom while it last. See ya soon, darling. Bye." "Wait. Latise?"
he heard a click sound. "Damn." he turned his cell off, and slammed his fist on
the table. Viviana pulled up in a drive way, and turned her car off. She stepped out of her Benz and stepped up on the porch, pressing the doorbell. A few seconds later, the door flew open, and there stood her handsome boyfriend. "Hey, Bobby." she wrapped her arms around his neck, and met lips with his. "Hey, cutie." he pulled her in and kicked the door closed. "I missed you." she followed him in the living room. "Where have you been for the pass week?" "Um...I was helping one of my friend's out. She was trying to move in with her boyfriend. Any way...what have you been up to? Where's your sis? I wanna know if I could borrow her skirt. I'm going to the mall later." "She's in her room." he took a seat on the sofa. "Cool. I'll be back." she jogged up the stairs, and towards his sister's room. She knocked on the door a waited for a reply. "Come in." someone spoke behind the door. She gradually pulled the door open, and peered in the room to see Crystal laying on her bed, polishing her toe nails. "Hey girl." she smiled. "What's up?" she entered the room and closed the door. "I wanted to know if I could borrow your hugs and kisses skirt. I was going to the mall for this little party thing they're having by the theatre area." "Really? Why didn't you tell me? Maybe I wanted to go. I have no plans for today." she sat on the foot of the bed. "Cool. Well we could go together." Bobby looked up to see Viviana heading down the stairs. "She's going with me." she took a seat on his lap, and met lips with his. "So...what do you wanna do?" "Hmm I dunno." he skimmed her thigh soothingly. "Did you have anything in mind?" he licked his lips and focused back in on the TV. "Um...I was thinking...maybe we could have our own little private show in your room. What do you think?" he instantly turned the TV off, and stood up. "I'm down with it." she chuckled, and grasped his hand, leading in upstairs to his room. 6:12 p.m. "What do you mainly wear?" Sarah asked Anna while rummaging through the rack of shorts. "Um...my father didn't allow me to wear skirts because he would always say...men would try to sneak a peak at what I'm wearing." she rolled her eyes, and handed her a dark blue, jean skirt. " "Well you're not living with your stupid ass father anymore. You're gonna wear what Kelsey and I wear. Skirts are to make you look sexy...cool, ya know? Not for men to look under. Now I must admit...some men do try to sneak a peak, but...those are the men who have no lives." she chuckled, following her towards the dress isle. "Your father probably use to do that. I mean...how else would he know what a man would do?" "I know. Sometimes...it felt like...he was trying to molest me. He would...look at me in these weird ways. This was after my mother passed away." "I'm telling you...your father is a psycho. He's a weirdo who can't get pussy if it cost him his life." she broke out laughing. A lady who over heard her, gazed at her like she was insane. "What are you looking at? Don't act like you never heard of the word pussy. If you didn't...then you can't be a woman." she spat out. "Oh my god. You crack me up. Ahahaha." Anna continued laughing. "I'm serious. Everyone has a freedom of speech. I dunno why she was looking at me like that. Any way..." "Hey...check out this dress." Kelsey approached them, holding a red, suede dress in her hand. "It's on sale for sixty bucks. The original price is a hundred and forty dollars. Can you believe that? This store rocks." "Wow. This is nice." Sarah spoke as she scrutinized the outfit. "What do you think, Anne? Want something like that?" "Well..." she shrugged her shoulders. "It's beautiful but...I don't wanna spend all of your money. I just...don't feel right." she rolled her eyes. "Girl please. It's not like I can't get more money. I'm Lance's assistant. Don't you know I get paid twenty dollars an hour. And...sometimes he even throws in a little extra just for being his cousin. Ahaha. Come on. Don't worry about it. I have plenty of money in the bank." she held her head down as she thought. "To make you feel better...I'll get a dress with you." she smiled and looked up to lock eyes with hers. "Okay." "Cool." they
all headed towards the dress isle. Lisa turned the phone on and dialed a familiar number, waiting for a reply. "Yep?" "Hey, Justin. What's up?" she spoke excitedly. "Hey, Lise. What's been going on?" she sat back on the resting chair out on the patio by the pool, and closed her eyes. "Nothing much. I'm chilling around the pool area with your fiancé. She's in the Jacuzzi now." he chuckled. "Yeah. How is she doing?" she paused. "Um...that's the reason why...I called. You see...she hasn't been herself lately." he held a confused look. "You can't tell her what I'm about to tell you. She doesn't even know I'm on the phone with you." "What is it? Is she okay? The baby okay?" he asked in concern. "Um...yeah...the baby is fine and so is she. It's just...every night...I would hear crying. This would be in the middle of the night...around eleven. I would listen closely and...not to sound crazy and all but...it sounds like...she's getting raped or something. I don't know if she be talking in her sleep, but...I just wanted to tell you because...I'm worried about her. Ever since she met that guy at the mall...everything started changing." "What guy? She met a guy at the mall and she didn't even tell me?" he began to get angry. "No. It's not like that. She didn't know it would get this serious. All she did was chat with him for five minutes. I was there when she did. They were talking about things like...modeling. He kept complimenting her on how good she looks in the magazines and stuff like that. After that...that same night...I heard her crying, and...calling for help. I wanted to go see what was going on but I couldn't. So one night...I couldn't take it anymore. You know I care for her too. So...I walked up to her door and the crying had died down. I kept calling her, but she wouldn't answer. So I tried opening her door but it was locked." she paused as she could feel the tears building up. "So...I...I went downstairs and got the extra set of keys...and...unlocked her door." she cried silently. "There she was..." the tears took over. "Lisa...tell me what happened." she sniffled and wiped underneath her eyes. "Tell me." "She...her clothes were ripped and...she was tied to the bed...naked." she began crying hysterically. "She was raped Justin. RAPED. And the same guy that she met at the mall...did it." she sniffled tremendously. "I'm so sorry. I know...she's gonna kill me...when she finds out that I told you but...I had to. I care for her. I care for her and you, and...I just don't want anything bad to happen." suddenly, she heard a click. "Justin? Hello? Justin?" he had hung up. "Shit." she turned the phone off, and held her head down. She didn't know if telling him was the biggest mistake in the world, but she knew he would find out one way or another. Why was she feeling so guilty? Just then, she remembered he was to be back home tomorrow. "Damn. What have I done?" |
