Crush (Chapter 13) Later that day (4:23 p.m.) Lance entered his house, and dropped his luggage by the door. "Kelsey?" he called, entering the living room to see his next door neighbor sitting on the sofa watching television. "Anna? What are you doing here?" he asked curiously. "Anne...did the movie start?" he quickly gawked to the side to see Kelsey walking down the stairs. She locked eyes with his and froze. "Lance? Oh my god. Lance." she ran towards him, and embraced him in a warm hug. "I missed you SO MUCH, baby." he chuckled, and pulled back to stare in her eyes. "I missed you too, Angel." he met lips with hers. "Girl...we have a lot of catching up to do." he released her, and gazed at Anna who continued watching TV. "Um...is she staying with us now?" he asked, keeping his eyes on her. "Um...yeah. We got everything cleared out between her and her father. He won't abuse her again. That's for sure. Any way..." she locked eyes with his. "What did you do on tour? I know sing...but...besides that. Did you have fun?" she grabbed his luggage and headed up the stairs. "Yeah. I had fun. You didn't have to..." "No. It's okay. I wanted to." she referred to the luggage. He followed her in the room and closed the door behind him. "Wow. The room is still in good hands. Very weird. Nah I'm just kidding. You're always clean." she sat his luggage in the closet and slowly approached him. "Um...you know what I wanna do now?" she spoke softly, standing closely in front of him. "What?" he bit the bottom of his lip while trailing his eyes down her figure. "Should I know?" he watched her remove her robe. "Definitely."
she grasped his hand and led him towards the bed.
"Shut the hell up, Viv." Joey spat out, stuffing a mouth full of shrimp fried rice in his mouth. "You just say that because I'm your brother. But if I was someone besides that...you would be drooling over me...just like these dumb teens do. Well...not dumb. It's just..." "What happened on tour, Joey?" she interrupted him. "Did someone try to attack you?" she tried so hard to hold in her laughs that were begging to escape. "Are you trying to be funny? Don't let me..." "Alright, guys. Stop the arguing. You guys are supposed to love each other. That's how brothers and sisters are supposed to treat each other. Damn. You guys are always at it." Katrina complained, resting her feet on the coffee table. "Yeah. She's right, Joey." Viviana agreed. "You're supposed to love me...not hate me." "That goes for you too, Viv." she giggled, and focused in on the television. The doorbell rung loud and clear throughout the house. "I'll get it." she hopped up and headed towards the front door, unbarring it, and pulling it open. She gasped, staring in shock. "Bob?" she quickly looked over her shoulder to stare at Joey who was gazing at her. "Shit Um...you have to go. It's not...a good time right now." "Who is that?" he asked, slowly standing up. "Oh god. Leave...please." he held a confused look. "Why? What's going on? I came by to see you..." "GO!" she sighed, and held her head down. "I'll explain everything later. Just...go. Please. My bro..." "Well hello there. Look who decided to show up." Joey pushed Viviana aside, and stepped on the porch. "What the hell are you doing here? Didn't I make myself clear when I said to stay the HELL away from my sis?" he spoke angrily. "Last time I remember...this was a free country." he spat out. "You fucking f..." "Joey...don't." Viviana held him back. "Don't start this now. I..." "You get back inside, and leave me and Bob alone." he spoke, keeping his eyes on him. "Look, man. I don't wanna start any trouble. I just came by to see Viviana. Unless you were expecting me. Just to let you know...I don't swing that way." "You BITCH!" he swung his fist, striking him in the face. Viviana gasped, covering her mouth in shock. "You IDIOT! YOU FUCKING BASTARD!" Viviana began swinging her fists, hitting him everywhere. "I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU, YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE! YOU'RE ALWAYS TRYING TO RUIN SOMETHING I HAVE! I CAN NEVER KEEP A MAN, BECAUSE OF YOUR STUPID ASS! YOU BITCH!" "Okay, okay. Calm down." Bobby grasped her, pulling her away. "It's okay." he spit out blood coming from his gums. "It's no big deal. Really." he kept his eyes on Joey who held an angry look. "Hey, Joey." he hastily looked up to focus in on a familiar woman he wasn't expecting to see. "Perfect timing, huh?" his eyes lit up. "Latise?" he closed the front door. "What the hell are you doing here? Leave now." he demanded. "Hey, Kelley." Katrina greeted as she stepped on the porch. "It's about time you came. Come in. I was just about to start the movie." Joey held a confused look. "What the hell...is going on here? Kat...do you care to explain this? WHY IN THE HELL...IS THIS WOMAN DOING HERE?! She's not coming in my house. Leave...now. You're not allowed on my property." "Excuse me?" Katrina spoke with attitude. "Who the hell do YOU think you are? First...you HARASS this man...NOW...you HARASS my friend? I don't care what happened in the past between you two. That's between you and her. If I say she can stay...THEN SHE'S GONNA STAY! AND YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!" she raised her voice. "BUT THIS IS MY HOUSE! AND WHEN I SAY SHE'S NOT COMING IN...SHE'S NOT...FUCKING COMING IN!" he yelled even louder. "LEAVE LATISE! NOW!" "No. She's not leaving." she grasped her arm. "Come on." she pulled her inside the house. "But...I don't want you hanging around her." he lowered his voice. "She's...bad news. You have to believe me. This woman...tried to kill me once. She even tried to put me in jail. I just...wanna keep our family out of danger. She's crazy." he warned. "Save it, asshole." she rolled her eyes, and slammed the door shut. "Fuck." he mumbled. 5:49 p.m. "Meg...pass me the bucket...now." Taneshia spoke to her friend as she watched Chris pull a few rose stems out of the flower garden. "Hurry. He's about to go inside." "Here." she handed her the bucket full of water. She carefully accepted it out of her hand, and watched him closely as he slowly headed towards the back sliding door, leading inside the house. "On the count of three. One...two...three." she tilted the bucket, spilling the water on him. "What the hell." he looked up to stare at her. "TANESHIA!" he yelled. "YOU ASSHOLE! I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" he rushed in the house. "AHAHAHA! YOU SHOULD'VE SAW HIS FACE! PRICELESS! AHAHA..." she froze as she gazed at Chris who stood by the door, soaking wet, water dripping down his body. "Uh oh. Um...on the count of three...run. One...two...THREE!" they quickly rushed pass him, exiting the room. "AHHHHHHH!" she screamed at the top of her lungs as he chased her down the stairs. "MOMMY, MOMMY! CHRIS IS MESSIN WITH ME AGAIN!" she screamed. "You big baby." he stopped in front of his mother as Taneshia hid behind her. "She's always bothering me. Shouldn't she had gotten her own place? She's eighteen for christ sake. Eighteen...acting like a DAMN two year old." she pouted playfully. "It's okay."
Katelyn assured, slowly approaching him. "Don't worry about it. We're gonna get
the little brat one day." she grasped his hand, and led him up the stairs, and
in their room. "I...I love you." Alexia spoke, eyes diluted. "Mmm...I love you too." Justin slowly met lips with hers, and entered his tongue in her mouth, caressing hers delicately. They were startled by the doorbell. "I'll get it." he stepped out of bed, and threw on a robe. "I'll be back. Don't go no where." he chuckled and exited the room. The doorbell went off once again. "I'm coming, god damnit. Hold your horses." he spoke angrily. He unbarred the front door, and pulled it open to focus in on his mother and two other familiar looking women standing beside her. "Hey." he tightened his robe and stood aside. "Come in." they slowly entered the house, and entered the living room. "What's up, Justin." Michelle greeted. "Hey, princess. What's been going on? Hey, Andrea." he kissed her on the cheek. "I haven't seen you in a while. Where you been, stranger? You don't know how to stop by your peeps house to see 'em." he leaned against the wall, staring at the three. "Whatever, Justin. It's not like you missed me any way. Where's JC?" she asked curiously, gazing around the room. "Um...he should be home. Why?" she shrugged her shoulders. "No particular reason. Just asking." he nodded meekly, slowly locking eyes with his mother. "So...how have you been?" he crossed his arms over his chest. "Um...nothing much. Just the usual." they all looked up to focus in on Alexia who slowly ambled down the stairs. "Hey, guys." she entered the living room, and stood beside Justin. "Wow. I didn't know you guys were here." she met eye contact with Michelle. "Um...I'm guessing you're Michelle...the upcoming new artist. Hi. I'm Alexia." she extended her hand out to shake hers. "Hello. Nice meeting you." she shook her hand. "Same here. How's it going, Andrea? It's been a while." "Just the same ol' same ol'." she nodded, and gazed to the side to lock eyes with Justin. "Um...did we interrupt you guys in the middle of something? I..." "Oh no. Why would you ask that? I mean...no. You didn't. We were just...catching up on the time...we've missed." Justin stammered lightly, chuckling nervously. "Sure. I know what you two were doing. Come on...it's obvious you two were banging each other's guts out." everyone gasped. "Don't worry. You're not the only one." "Andrea...watch your mouth, young lady." Lynn warned with a shock look on her face. "Oh...sorry. I forgot...you were there." she giggled nervously, and looked away. "Any way...we're gonna leave and...let you two finish what you were doing." Lynn stood up. "I just stopped by to see how things were going around here." she gazed around the room. "Everything seems to be looking okay." she smiled, and focused back in on the two. "So...I'll see you later, son." she kissed him on the cheek. "You two...my beautiful daughter-in-law." she chuckled, and pecked her on the cheek. "Bye lovebirds." they watched the three head towards the front door. "Yeah. Bye...assholes." Andrea blurted out. "ANDREA?" Lynn raised her voice. "Oops. Did I think too loud? Sorry." she rolled her eyes and exited the house. "Ahaha. She's a
trip, ain't it?" he locked eyes with Alexia. "Any way...back to the room." he
held her hand, and led her up the stairs and in their room.
Whitney, JC's cousin laid on the sofa, sleeping silently. JC slowly headed down the stairs, and entered the living room, instantly focusing in on Whitney. "Watch this." he crept up behind her, and leaned over the sofa, placing his mouth by her ear. "WHITNEY!" he yelled. She shot up, staring in complete shock. "Ahahaha. Oh lord. Hahaha." she rubbed her tired eyes. "You idiot. You play too damn much." she stood up and jogged up the stairs, entering her room afterwards. "Ahaha. She'll be okay. Any way..." he fell on the sofa, and turned the television. "Ooh cool. The 12 monkeys. You ever saw this before?" Jamie took a seat beside him and rested her head on his shoulder. "Nope. I don't think so." the phone rung. She reached out for it, and placed it by her ear. "Hello?" "Hey, JD. What's up?" a familiar voice responded. "Hey. What's up, Lex? How's things between you and Justin?" she rested her feet on the coffee table. "Things are going perfectly fine. As soon as he get back settled in...I'm gonna mention the visit by his friend, Mykel." she chuckled. "Don't try to start anymore trouble, girl. You guys are doing good now. You wouldn't want to ruin things again. Don't you EVER learn from your mistakes? Damn girl." she giggled. "Yeah I do. But...if she comes by again...I'm definitely gonna say something about it." she spoke surely. "Yeah, whatever." the doorbell rung throughout the house. "Damn. I'll get it." she stood up and slowly approached the door. She unlocked it and pulled it open to focus in on some curly haired guy. "Justin? Um...Lex...do you know that Justin is standing on my porch now?" "Huh? Oh...well I knew he left. He didn't tell me he was going there." "What's up, dork? Let me in." he pushed her aside and entered the house. "Well excuse you too...asshole." she rolled her eyes and closed the door, locking it. "He's so annoying and disrespectful." she chuckled. "Well he only acts like that with certain people. He knows not to try me." she entered the living room, and took a seat on the other sofa, opposite of where Justin was sitting. "Yeah. I guess you're right. You should know him better any way." she kept her eyes on JC. "Oh...let me tell you what happened last night. As soon as JC got home...we made love. Ahaha. It was the best ever." "Really? The same thing happened between Justin and I. And we did it again this morning. Ahaha. It felt great...for the second time." "Who are you talking to, dork?" Justin teased her. "Your fiancé. That's who I'm talking to." his eyes lit up. "Oh um...don't tell her I'm here." he whispered. "Too bad. She already knows. Ahaha. Don't worry. She'll try to take it easy on you when you get home. IF you get home. AHAHAHA!" she broke out laughing even harder. "Alright, baby. Chill out. You don't have to laugh that loud." JC spoke up. "You chill out...CHASEZ! AHAHAHAHA!" she continued laughing. He lowered his eyes at her. "Okay. Just WAIT until we're alone. I'm gonna show you." he warned with a seductive look on his face. "Yeah. She's deserves an ass whoopin'." Justin added in. "I'll give her an ass whoopin' FOR YOU!" JC's eyes lit up. "I didn't mean it that way." he held a disgusted look. "Oh...Ew. I can never see myself doing it with her. Yuck. That just disgusts me." he stuck his index finger in his mouth, indicating a vomit sign. "Disgusting." she rolled her eyes. "Shut up, you hideous bitch." she stood up and headed towards the kitchen. "Yeah. I'm hideous alright. Not as hideous as your face." he blurted out. "Justin...don't start now. You know she always take it serious. I don't want you two trying to rip each other's heads off." JC warned. "Fine. I'll stop. ONLY if she stops looking at me like that. She's scaring me." he kept the eye contact with Jamie. "Her hideous face and...ugh." "You hoe. Alexia I'll call you back. I gotta kill your fiancé." she turned the phone off, and charged for Justin. "Uh oh. I think it's time to go." he shot up and headed straight for the door. |
