Crush (Chapter 6) Three days later Justin stepped off the plane with his luggage and headed towards the tour bus that awaited for them. After finding out Alexia was pregnant, he tried avoiding her as possible until he cleared his head. "What's up, Justin?" he locked eyes with Lonnie, one of his bodyguards. "Hey, sexy chocolate." he stepped up on the bus, and headed straight for the back. "Are you guys ready for tour?" Todd, another bodyguard asked who sat in front of the wheel. "Nope." Joey spoke, entering the bus. "My girlfriend is pregnant. I don't know if I should have left her." "Aw." he chuckled. "Don't worry. I'm sure she's fine." he assured. Chris, and Lance entered the bus with their luggage and approached the back area of the bus. Justin took a seat at the table in the front area and gazed out the window. Thoughts about Alexia were running through his head. He began to wonder if he was wrong for walking out on her. OF COARSE he was wrong, AND he denied being the father. Why were he so cruel? "Hey, curly." he quickly looked up to gaze at Joey. "Your cell." he handed it to him. "Oh...thanks." he turned it on and placed it by his ear. "Hello?" "Uh...hey." there was a pause. "This is Lex." he held his head down and rubbed through his hair in frustration. "Um..." "What do you want?" "I...I miss you." she sniffled. "I don't understand why you're avoiding me. It's not like I MADE myself pregnant. You had something to do with it and YOU know it." she cried. "Of coarse I know it. The problem is...you LIED to me. You looked me in the eyes and lied to me. Do you know how I felt? I felt horrible. I thought I could trust you." he could hear her crying on the other end. "Well...I guess there's nothing left to say. I'll call you back later." he turned his cell off and locked eyes with Lance who sat in front of him. "You have
problems, man. You just don't know how good you have it." he stood up and left
the table. Alexia slouched on the sofa, crying silently. "Shh. Everything's going to be okay." Lisa comforted her. "He's just...still shocked about the news. Trust me. He'll call you back and apologize." she assured. "I dunno. I mean..." she sniffled and looked up to gaze in her eyes. "We haven't talked or SEEN each other for THREE days. I called and called but no one would pick up the phone. I even left messages. Usually he'll answer them. I don't know. I'm so scared, Lisa. I'm afraid...I'll lose him." she sniffled. "No you won't. Trust me. He's not gonna end it over something like that. Just like I said...he's just shocked about being a father. He never thought something like this would happen to him. Just give him a few days...or weeks. Whatever. He'll call you back. I KNOW Justin. And from the way he talks about you...you guys are gonna make it. Believe what I say." a smile slowly formed on her face. "Thank you." she smiled massively. "I sort of...feel better now." "That's what I'm here for." she bit the bottom of her lip and held her head down. The doorbell rung loud and clear throughout the house. "I'll get it." Lisa jogged up towards the door and pulled it open to focus in on a brunette woman. "Hey, Katelyn." "What's up?
Where's Lex? I heard the news. I'm so proud of her." she brushed pass her and
entered the house. Michelle sat beside Justin and intertwined her fingers together. "Hey." he gawked to the side to stare at her. "Hey, Princess? Are you okay?" she smiled warmly. "Yeah. I'm so excited about being on tour with you guys. I bet we're gonna have so much fun. Um..." she licked her lips and held her head down. "I'm sorta...nervous about...performing on stage." "Why? You don't have to be. I'll be there every step of the way." she nodded timidly. "Cool." she stood up and headed towards the back area of the bus. Justin slowly focused in on Tiffani, one of the back up dancers who sat on the sofa on the other side of the bus. He bit the bottom of his lip as he scrutinized her carefully. He didn't understand why she reminded him so much of Alexia. Was it her eyes? Or maybe her smile? "Hmm." he looked away and gazed out the window. "I wanna go home." he groaned. A month later "Ms. Elizabeth...you're a month and a week pregnant." the doctor informed while taking a seat on the high stool in front of her. "Where is your fiancé now?" he asked curiously, looking up to gaze at her. "Um...he's on tour for two months. He should be back next month. Sometime around that month." she held her head down. "I miss him already. We haven't spoken for a month now. I think he's still pissed about what happened." "I see." he flipped through the notebook. "Well...your next appointment is in three weeks. You think you could be here on the twenty-fifth?" "Um...sure. I could make it. I have no plans." she hopped off the bed. "Great. So I'll see you then. Take care of yourself, Ms. Elizabeth." she grabbed her purse and pulled the door open. "I will. See
ya' later." she exited the room and closed the door behind her. "Ahahaha. Oh and did you see that chick jump on Lance? He looked like he was gonna have a heart attack. Hahaha." Joey joked. "Tell me about it." Justin and the guys sat at a round table outside, eating lunch. "Luckily the body guards were close around. He probably would have had a cow. No telling what would've happen." Chris added in. Justin on the other hand, kept to himself, listening to the comments the guys made. "What's up with you, man? You haven't said a word ALL day." "Maybe he's still thinking about Alexia. She probably is out with another man as we speak." Joey boosted up. "Shut up, dude. Lex is a faithful woman. I could tell." JC spat out. "What you need to be doing is thinking about YOUR woman." he pointed. "That girl don't know when to make up her mind." "See that's where you're wrong. Katrina is VERY faithful. Especially if she hangs around Lex." he chewed on his fry. "What about your chick? She's the one who can't keep her legs closed for an hour." JC slammed his cup on the table, and stood up. "You had NO right to talk about Jamie like that. You don't EVEN know her like I do." he pointed his finger at him. "Katrina is the one who can't keep her legs closed. She's the one who's pregnant." Justin chuckled softly at the comment. They all slowly gazed at him. "Oh...that's the first thing I heard from him ALL day." Chris joked. Justin slowly looked up to gaze at a table across from theirs. There sat a woman, sipping a cup of sprite. He squinted his eyes to get a better look at her. When he realized who it was...he completely froze. "Mykel?" he spoke up. "Oh...and that's the second word he said out of today." Joey added. He stood up, and brushed his outfit down, slowly approaching the table. "Oooh. Now look who's being the faithful one." "Don't jump to conclusion. It could be anyone. Probably an old friend of his." they all watched him take a seat in front of the woman, and began chatting with her. "Let's hope she is." "Hey, Justin. Damn...it's been a while." Mykel spoke up. "Yeah. Last time I saw you was in high school. What are you doing here in Idaho?" she shrugged her shoulders and sat her cup down. "I just moved here with my husband not too long ago. We live about a mile away from here." he nodded. "Wow. You do move quickly. You're already married? How old are you any way? Eighteen?" she nodded meekly. "Yep. Turning nineteen in January. Thirty days before yours." his eyes lit up. "Oh yeah." she chuckled. "What are they talking about?" Chris asked curiously. "I dunno. Maybe planning a booty call." They all broke out laughing. "Hey, J." he looked up to gaze at Tiffani. "Do you mind if I join you guys?" he moved over. "Not at all." she smiled and took a seat beside him with her food. "Mykel...this is one of my back up dancers. Tiff...this is an old friend of mines. We were high schools buds." she reached over, shaking her hand. "Nice to meet you." "Same here." Mykely responded. Justin's cell phone went off. "Um...excuse
me. I have to answer my cell." he stood up and left the table. "Please pick up the phone." Alexia spoke impatiently while pacing back and forth in her room. "Hello?" at that moment, it felt like her heart had stopped. "Hello?" she couldn't get herself to speak. "He...lo? Any one there?" "Oh...um..." she took a seat on the bed, and gazed at Lisa who sat on a chair in front of a mirror, putting make up on. "...hey. Justin? Um...this is...Lex. How ya' doin?" there was a long pause. "Um...I'm doing okay." he sat on a nearby bench. "What about you? How's the baby?" she smiled slyly. "The baby is great. That's one of the reasons I was calling you. I went to the doctor's office today and he said the baby is healthy. I won't know what I'm having until I'm in my forth month." he chuckled. "Oh yeah? That's great." she licked her lips, and held her head down. "Um...I...I really missed you...a lot." she felt her heart skip a beat. "I...wanted to call you...very badly but...I couldn't get myself to. I was just...too upset about you lying to me." she kept quiet as she listened closely to every word he said. "Well..." he sighed. "...I won't be home until next month...somewhere in the twenties. I can't wait to see you." "I can't wait to see you either, and...I missed you SO much. I couldn't stop thinking about you. I thought...you were gonna...end it when you came back. I was so...afraid we were over. Ask Lisa. Haha. I was miserable without you." he chuckled softly. "Baby...you shouldn't think about things like that. You know I would never leave you. Especially over stupid shit like this." she chuckled. "I'm serious. I just...needed sometime to think. I was really pissed, you know?" he paused. "I just...never thought you would...look me in the eyes...and lie to me. It really hurt." he paused. "I was gonna call you, and clear things up. Just...when it was the right time." "I understand. Seriously, and...I promise I will never do anything like that again. I learn from my mistakes." he smiled to himself. "So do I." he nibbled on the bottom of his lip. "I shouldn't have walked out on you like that. I was being a complete idiot. Let along...I denied being the father. How stupid was that? I KNEW you were a virgin. But why did I do something so ignorant? I'm sorry, baby. I didn't mean it. I was just...shocked at the time. VERY shocked." he chuckled. "I can't believe I'm gonna be a father. Well at least it's with you." she broke out laughing. "Ahaha. I'm serious. No joke. Any way..." he sighed. "Oh yeah...let me TELL you what happened ON STAGE today. It was the MOST...HILARIOUS thing EVER." he stood up. "What is it?" "Lance...ahaha Lance got attacked by this...gorilla looking thing." she broke out laughing. "Really? What happened?" she continued laughing. "Well...we were on our last song...Up against the wall, and...you know the turn routine?" he broke out laughing. "Yeah. What?" "AHAHAHAHA! This big fat...high yellow woman hopped on stage. I don't know how the hell she did it. I mean...she was FAT! Not the PHAT fat but the FAT as in Jenny Craig Fat." she laughed loudly. "What's so funny?" Lisa asked curiously. "Oh nothing. Justin is telling me something that happened earlier today." she giggled. "So any way...Lonnie tried to pull the lady away but she was TOO strong. So...we had to call security. About ten security guards came and pulled the lady away. Even Lonnie couldn't control her. She kept yelling "LANCE...LANCE"...spitting everywhere. I mean...say it but don't spray it, you know what I mean? And Lance just stood there with this horrid look on his face...like he saw a ghost or somethin. The rest of the guys were just laughing. And so was I. That was the funniest shit that happened so far. I laughed my head off. At least that made me feel a little better, because I was also miserable without you." "Really? I CAN'T wait to see you again." she laid on her back, gazing at the ceiling. "Hey...tell Justin I said hi." Lisa spoke up. "Oh...Lisa said what's up?" she relayed the message. "Cool. Tell her I said what's up, and keep her legs closed. Nah I'm just kiddin." she chuckled. "Ooh and I almost forgot." Lisa mentioned. "This lady name Savannah called this morning. She asked for Justin. Tell him she wanted to know when were he coming back home because she needed his help...badly. That's all she told me." Alexia held a curious look. "Um...Justin...who is Savannah?" she asked curiously. "Savannah? Oh...she's my ex. We broke up three years ago. Why?" she sat up, feeling herself getting angry. "Just great. Now you're having an affair? I don't get you at all. Just because we get into ONE argument...you wanna go and have an affair?" she spoke angrily. "Wait...hold up. What the hell are you talking about? Sav..." "SHE WANTED TO KNOW...WHEN WERE YOU COMING BACK HOME BECAUSE SHE NEEDED YOUR HELP...BADLY! LET ME TURN THAT AROUND! SHE NEEDED YOUR DICK BADLY!" she yelled. Lisa stared in shock. "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU, JUSTIN! HOW COULD YOU?!" "Lex...you got this all wrong. I was HELPING her get a record deal. She is a VERY good singer." he defended himself. "A very good singer? Or do you mean a very good person in bed?" he sighed. "Lex...I thought you knew me? What? You don't trust me anymore? You're beginning to piss me off. Please don't fuck with me today. I'm NOT in the mood." "Oh, but I'm sure you're in the mood for that Savannah girl to FUCK with you." she spat out. "You know what? FUCK YOU, LEX. YOU'RE DOING NOTHING BUT MAKING THINGS WORSE FOR THE BOTH OF US!" he yelled. "I don't even know why I answered this damn cell. I'm turning it off." with that, she heard a click. She sat there in shock, slowly turning the phone off. "What happened? I heard yelling." Lisa asked in concern. "Um...he said "Fuck you". Then he said he's turning his cell phone off." Lisa's eyes lit up. "Uh oh. That's not good at all. Not one bit." Lisa said, shaking her head pathetically. "What do you mean by that?" she took a seat beside her, and threw her hair in a sloppy pony tail. "Well when Justin says stuff like that...it usually means...he's threw. In your case...he would be breaking up with you. In my case...he won't talk to me for a few months." her eyes lit up. "Oh my god." she covered her mouth in shock, eyes wide open. "He didn't mean it. I don't think." she locked eyes with Lisa. "You don't think he meant it do you?" "Hmm." she stood up. "I dunno. Why don't you call him and see." she headed towards the bedroom door. "But I can't...not now. I mean...he said he was gonna turn his cell off." "Well..." she pulled the door open. "I guess you'll have to wait until he gets back home. Give him another month to cool off." she assured. "I'm gonna go change into some fresher clothes. I have a date at six. See ya' later." she watched her exit the room. "Shit." she mumbled, not knowing what to do. "Damn. What am I gonna do?" she could feel the tears building up in her system. "Oh god." she covered her face with both hands while crying to herself. She was hoping "breaking up" was the last thing on his mind. |
