Crush (Chapter 7) The next week The millions and millions of voices, and the screaming fans lightened up the concert. Sweat slowly trickled down Justin's forehead as he danced the routines with the other guys and the dancers. Do you ever
wonder why Tiffani danced up close behind him. Alexia rolled her eyes and changed the channel. "Ugh. Look at him. Having the time of his life...WITHOUT ME!" she frowned and slammed her back on the sofa. "Lex...don't let it get to you." Lisa assured. "But...after what happened last week...we haven't spoken ever since. Everything is just...upside down now. I wonder if he still loves me." "Girl...he still loves you. Believe me. He's just...upset right now. I could tell." she licked her lips and held her head back. "Oh god." she
closed her eyes, releasing a sigh. "I can't WAIT until he's back in town." Viviana, Joey's sister hung out with Whitney, JC's cousin for the day. She drove down the highway, listening to the radio. "So...what are you getting for Bobby?" Whitney asked. "Um...I dunno." she turned on the blinkers and switched lanes. "Maybe something romantic. IF ya' know what I mean." she chuckled. "But...he's afraid to come back over my house." "Why?" "Well...it's not that he's afraid. It's just...he doesn't wanna start a HUGE confusion with my stupid ass, over protective brother. He barged in on us making out...about a month ago." "Damn." she mumbled. "Yep. They almost got into it until his ex girlfriend interrupted. Thank God she did. They probably would have murdered each other. Who knows?" she chuckled. "Who? Latise?" "You know her?" she pulled in at the entrance of the mall. "Yeah. She dated my cousin." her eyes lit up. "Who? Rick?" she asked surprisingly. "Yep. Your ex." "Oh my god."
she spoke, still in shock. Sarah rung the doorbell at the next door neighbors house and waited for a reply. Slowly, the door flew open and there stood Anna. "Hey, um...I just stopped by to...say hi." "Hi." she smiled slyly. "Um...wanna come in?" she offered. "Uh...sure." she brushed pass her and entered the house. "Your dad's here?" she entered the living room. "No. He's out with his friends." she took a seat on the sofa. "So...did you have anything in mind that you wanted to talk about?" "Actually..." she sat beside her. "...yeah. There is something I have to say...or ask. Um...Lance called, and...spoke to Kelsey. You know...to see how things were going. Um...Kelsey happened to catch your dad...hitting you with...some cord. And..." "You guys were spying on me?" she interrupted. "What? No. Of coarse not. Kelsey was out by the pool...tanning herself when she saw it all happen. She saw EVERYTHING! When he dragged you on the floor by your hair and...slung you against the wall. She...she felt like crying, and...she just wants to help you." Sarah's eyes slowly filled up with solution. "Lance invited you to stay with us. Just until you find another place to live. OR...you could stay with us as long as you want. We don't mind." "I dunno. I have to...talk to my dad about it first." "But why? You're eighteen now. That's considered an adult. You shouldn't continue staying here. NOT with an abusive person like your psycho father is." "I told you...I DON'T KNOW YET! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ENGLISH?!" she raised her voice. "I think you should leave...before my father comes back." "I think it's too late." they quickly looked up to gaze at a man, standing in the living room. "Daddy?" they
both froze. Justin entered the mall with four of his friends and headed further in the huge hallway. "Hey, Justin." Tiffani spoke up while grasping his hand. He gazed to the side to stare at her. "Hey. What's up?" she smiled massively. "Nothing. I'm just glad that we have the day off. Oh and that we are back home in THREE weeks. Aren't you excited about that?" his smile slowly faded. "Um...not really." he began to think of Alexia. "It's just...I've been having a blast with you guys. When I'm home...I can't party all night ALMOST every day. I'm gonna miss this." he locked eyes with hers. "I'ma miss my friends." she bit the bottom of her lip and looked away. "I'ma miss you too. I mean...we'll miss you." she corrected. He chuckled, and grasped her hand tighter. "You wanna go grab a bite to eat? I'm hungry." "Sure." they headed towards the food court. Michelle spoke with Lance as they entered the Calvin Klein store. "You know...that's some funny shit. I've never heard of anything like that before." Lance blurted out. "Well now you did." she chuckled. Justin chewed on his taco and gazed across the table to notice Tiffani staring at him. "What? Something wrong?" he asked curiously. She giggled and held her head down. "Nah. You're just..." she sipped her coke. "...you're just...so handsome. I wish I found a guy like you." he gazed deeply in her eyes. "Alexia must be a VERY lucky girl." he held his head down, thinking about what she said. "You know...sometimes...I wonder how I got a job being a BACK UP dancer for one of the world's hottest male groups. I wonder where's Jenna." she gazed around the room. "Jenna told me she dated you before." he chuckled and looked up to gaze in her eyes. "Yeah right. I don't get some of these women nowadays. Why is everyone trying to claim me? How could I have dated her? I've been with Alexia for two years now and I met Jenna a year ago." she shrugged her shoulders. "I dunno." "I want you to tell Jenna to stop claiming me." he paused and gulped down his sprite. "One thing I don't do...and that's cheat. Especially not with a girl I truly love. Lex is my life. Without her...I'm nothing. I may...get upset and say I hate her but...I will always love her. And I don't mean the horrible things I say to her. That's just anger." he chewed on his taco. "Besides...she's having my baby, and I'M gonna be there EVERY step of the way." Tiffani kept quiet. "I...understand." she sipped her coke, never taking her gaze off him. "Can I ask you one question? Why haven't you spoken to her over a month now? I was just wondering because you're telling me how much you love her." deep down, he knew she was right. "If you asked me...she probably thought you dumped her so...she decided to move on. Did you ever think about that?" "It never crossed my mind. You see...Alexia will never do such a thing." "And how are you so sure?" he held his head down. "Come on now. You haven't CALLED her for a month now. What do you think that tells her? That you're done with her. She probably thinks you have something going on between me." she shook his head pathetically. "Look...you're
ALL wrong. You don't know shit about Alexia!" he raised his voice, standing up
in his chair, and gazing at the confused people staring him down. "None of you
do. You don't KNOW my fiancé like I do." he spoke angrily. "You guys...criticize
her because she's with a guy like me. Did you ever stop to think...she deserved
any of this? Lex is a very wonderful person. And If you got to know her...you
would think the same." he slowly locked eyes with Tiffani. "I KNOW she wouldn't
move on and she DIDN'T because we vowed to stay together forever. NO MATTER how
bad the situation gets. What Lex and I share are VERY different from this puppy
love you people are going through. If you knew her in reality and not from a
DAMN MAGAZINE..." he pointed to a magazine sitting on a table beside theirs.
"...you would DEFINITELY think the opposite." she stared in shock. "You
shouldn't...judge a book by it's cover. I thought you were smart enough to know
that." he paused. "Excuse me." she watched him head further in the mall, away
from the food court. "God..." he sighed. "I have to call her." he grabbed his
cell and turned it on. Alexia was startled by a ringing device. "Mmm." she moaned, slowly reaching over and picked up the phone. "H..." she cleared her throat. "Hello?" "Um...Lex?" she recognized the voice. "Justin...is that you?" she sat up and glanced at her watch. "Yes, baby. It's me." she felt so good all over. "Um...I know...you're probably upset with me because I didn't call you. I even refused to answer your calls. I was acting like a complete bitch and I'm so so sorry baby. Please forgive me." she chuckled softly. "Actually...I'm not upset with you." she covered her mouth as she yawned. "At first I was. But...I gotten over it." "Were you sleeping? If so...I'll leave you alone so you could get your sleep. I'll call you back later. I know it's good for the baby." "No no. Nonsense. I'm free to talk." she stepped out of bed. "I was sleeping but now I'm wide awake." she stretched, and entered the bathroom. "So...how's tour?" she rinsed her face under cool water, then began brushing her teeth. "It's going okay. I was just eating lunch with Tiffani and we ended up getting on an "Alexia" subject." he paused. "All of a sudden...she said something that MADE me realize...how much I missed you." she chuckled, goggling out her mouth with mouth wash. "Really? You know...I thought we were OVER, but...I still didn't give up on you. I KNEW you still had feelings for me." she exited the bathroom. "Thank God, Lisa was here. I probably would have DIED here without you. I was so miserable, baby. I couldn't eat or sleep. I know the baby is probably doing back flips." he chuckled. "I miss my curly boo." "Aw. I miss you too." he bit the bottom of his lip and took a seat on a bench located in the mall. "I bought you something wile I was out shopping." her eyes lit up. "Really? What is it?" she asked excitedly. "Um...I can't tell you. You'll have to see when I get home." she frowned and laid flat on the bed. "Man. You can't give me ONE clue what it is?" he chuckled. "If I do...you won't be excited to get it anymore." she sucked her teeth. "So unfair." she pouted in a baby like manner. "Damn. Why do you do this to me? And it works all the time." she giggled. "You really wanna know what it is?" "YES!" she answered quickly. "I mean...yes, sexy daddy." she corrected in a more calm manner. "Hmm. That's more like it. Well...it's a diamond necklace, with your name engraved in the inside part. It has this heart shaped diamond...BIG heart shaped diamond right in the very center with the initials "J" and "A". The first letter of the both of our names." he paused. "How does it sound? You think you'll like it?" all of a sudden, he heard a loud scream. "OMG! YOU BOUGHT ME A DIAMOND NECKLACE?!" she yelled excitedly. "Damn, woman." he rubbed his irritant ear. "Did you have to scream in my ear?" she chuckled. "I'm sorry, curly boo. So...how much did it cost?" he sucked his teeth. "There you go again. Nosy ass. What do I ALWAYS say when you ask me that? IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW MUCH IT COST!" he raised his voice. "Okay, okay. I'm sorry for asking." Two weeks later "Okay shhh." Taneshia whispered to Tami as they slowly crept in Chris's room. "If my parents find me in here...I'm dead meat." "Ooh. Is those his boxers?" Tami ran in the room, and grabbed the pair of black boxers that hung on the railing of his bed. "Cool." she closed her eyes and inhaled the scent. "Mmm." "Ew. Gross." Taneshia snatched them out of her hand and tossed them across the room. "Do you even KNOW what he does in those boxers?" she spoke disgustedly. "What? Tell me." she spoke anxiously. Taneshia rolled her eyes and sat on the bed. "You wouldn't want to imagine." "Renee...I'm home" her eyes lit up. "Shit. Hide." her mother headed towards her room, instantly focusing in on Chris's room door that was partially opened. "Hmm...that's strange. Why would his door be opened if he's not here?" she spoke to herself. Something swiftly ran pass her and into Chris's room. "Whew. Pebbles...it's just you. What are you doing?" she entered the room and gazed at Pebbles, their dog who was peering under the bed at the time. "You see something?" "Pebbles...go!" Taneshia shooed him away. "Did you find something, Pebbles?" Beverly kneeled down and lifted the blanket, suddenly focusing in on Taneshia. "Renee....what are you doing in here?" she sucked her teeth and held her head down. Later that night Justin entered the bunk area where Tiffani and Jenna were located. They both stopped laughing, quickly gazing at him. Their eyes slowly trailed down his half naked figure. Water trickled down his chest as a pearly white towel hid his other manly features below his navel. "Um..." Tiffani gulped down, gradually locking eyes with his. "Hey, Justin." Jenna smiled at him. "Hey." he looked away, and took a seat on his bunk. They watched as he rummaged through his duffle bag for a specific item. "Damn. Where's my boxers?" he spoke to himself. "I think I found them." Jenna teasingly held up a pair of white boxers. "How'd they get over there?" she handed it to him. "I dunno. I guess they magically appeared over here." she teased. "Hmm." he smeared deodorant on. "Why do you insist on playing mind games with me? Shouldn't you have kept that in elementary school?" Tiffani chuckled underneath her breath. "Which reminds me...why did you tell Tiff that we were dating at a point in time?" "Because we were. Why are you denying it?" she stood up and took a seat beside him. "Remember that night in your hotel room? It was a beautiful night, huh curly?" she trailed her hands down his chest. Tiffani's smile slowly faded, as she watched her trail her tongue up his collar bone. "Uh...I think you should stop." she pulled back to stare in his eyes. "Aw. Why are you acting like this, Justin? You know you like it. You weren't telling me to stop that night. Actually...you were begging for more." she began kissing down his chest. "Um...stop it, Jen." he requested. "Yeah...stop it, before I kick your ass." Tiffani spat out. Justin stared at her in confusion. She locked eyes with him, then Jenna who also held a baffled look. "Excuse me?" she spoke up. "Um...sorry. I'm sorry...I didn't mean that." she stood up and exited the bunk room. "What's wrong with her?" she asked curiously. "Uh...I dunno." he shrugged. |
