Crush (Chapter 19)

Later that day

“Well…I’ll be back. I gotta go fix me something to drink.” Katrina spoke to Viviana as she headed towards the kitchen. She peered in to see two familiar talking to each other. “Hmm.”

“I don’t know why…you insist on resisting me. You KNOW what happened between us in the past, but…it’s not like I can’t change. I’ll change for you…seriously.” Latise spoke to Joey as she leaned against the counter beside him.

“You can’t change if it cost you your life.” he spoke, washing the dishes in the sink. “I don’t want anything to do with you anymore. You tried to ruin everything between Katrina and I. Just because you ruined your life. What we had was the past, and now…I don’t wanna go pass that road again. You just…ruined everything between us.”

“What? What ruined it? I sure as hell know I didn’t. You LEFT me because you found out I was PREGNANT with YOUR CHILD! You didn’t want to be stuck taking care of a child with me. That’s why you left. You ruined everything. I didn’t.” he rolled his eyes.

“Sure I did.” He spoke sarcastically. “And that would explain why you tried to hurt me.”

“Look…you’re trying to make like this thing was ALL my fault. You HAD A PART OF IT! If you hadn’t cheated on me and dumped me because I was pregnant…then maybe I wouldn’t have tried to hurt you. You were a part of it so stop acting like all this was my fault.” Katrina stood there in shock as she listened to every word they said.

“No. All of this isn’t your fault. I wanna know one thing. Why did you come back? You even said you don’t need me and that you were stronger without me. Why did you come back? Answer that.” She sighed, and held her head down.

“Well…I…I dunno why…I came back.” She stammered.

“Pisshhhh. Bullshit. You know why you came back.” He paused, and turned the water off. “You came back to take me away from Katrina. Is that it? You’re trying to get closer to Katrina just to get to me. Am I correct?” she hesitated to answer. “Answer me, god damnit.”

“Okay. Yeah…you’re right.” She sighed, and looked up to lock eyes with his. “That bullcrap about being stronger without you was just a cover up…of how I truly felt.” Her eyes slowly filled up with solution. “You know I’ve always loved you…since the day we got together. But you, on the other hand…you never loved me. You were…too into your fans and…the women. You were blinded by their looks that…you didn’t even notice me sometimes. There were days when you would brag more about meeting a fan than bragging about me. You never complimented me or told me that you loved me, but I always told you I loved you and you wanna know what you said? You said NOTHING! You pretended as if you didn’t hear me.” Tears slowly poured down her cheeks. “Watching you and Katrina for the pass week. You two seem so in love. Why didn’t we have the love that you two have? You tell her you love her. You compliment her on her looks. You never did that to me. Was it because I was black? Huh? Is that it? If you had something against black people…then why the hell did you hook up with me?” she spoke angrily.

“I have NOTHING against black people. Matter fact…I have black people IN my family.”

“And your point would be? That means SHIT!” she raised her voice. “Just because you have black people in your family doesn’t mean you have to like them. That’s like saying…Justin was my cousin, but do I have to like him? HELL NO!” he bit the bottom of his lip and held his head down, resting his hand on his hip.

“Latise…maybe you have a point there, but…whatever you try to do…to get me back with you…will never work. We are through. Point blank. There’s no more US. You understand?" He headed out the door, instantly feeling a hand grasp him.

"Joey...I love you. I love you so much, and...no matter what you do...I will continue striving to get you back. If it cost me my life. I will not give up." he gazed deeply in her eyes. "You make think I'm lying now...but you will soon see the truth. We could have had something good, and YOU know that. You just try to ignore it. Don't run away from it. Please. It will only make things worse."

"Latise..."

"Tell me you love me. I know you do...deep down."

"I...I don't..."

"Joey..." she interrupted. "Why can't you just STOP thinking about Katrina for once and...think about something more important...like me for instance. WE were meant to be together. And I know you love me. So...stop denying your feelings for me and...let it all out. No one has to know. This is between you and I." he scratched his forehead in frustration, and leaned against the counter.

"Okay. You're right. I DO love you, okay? I love you so much, and...ever since the day I left you...I felt guilty. The only way to get over you is by starting off a new relationship, and that's where Katrina comes in. I love you, but...we can't be together. My heart belongs to Katrina. I didn't think I would actually fall in love, but...things happen. You and I are the past, and Katrina and I are the future, and just like I said. Whatever you do or say...can't change my mind. I'm sorry." she licked her lips and held her head down.

"Fine. Have it your way, Joey."

"Hmm." Katrina slowly entered the kitchen. "No one has to know, huh?" they both gazed at her. "You see...I thought I could trust YOU! But all along...you were USING me to get to Joey? You really messed up when you did that."

"Um...ladies...not now." Joey stood between the two.

"No. If she wants to fight me, then let her bring it. I'm not afraid of her. She's not on my level."

"Oh I'm not on your level? Okay. We'll see about that." she pulled the drawer open, and grabbed a knife. "Let's see who level you're on."

"Oh no. Don't. Don't do this ladies." Joey tried so hard to hold back Katrina as she swung her fists, trying to break free from his grasp. Latise just stood there with her arms crossed over her chest.
__________

Justin pulled up in his driveway, and parked the car. He looked up to focus in on a brunette lady standing on his porch. "Who the hell is that?" he stepped out of the car, and slowly approached her. "Um...can I help you?" she turned to face him, and smiled.

"Hey. Um..." he finally recognized who it was.

"Karen? Wh...what are you doing here?" he stepped up on the porch.

"I...need to talk to you." he held a confused look.

"Oh...well..." he unlocked his front door and pulled it open. "Come in and have a seat." he stood aside and allowed her to enter the house. "Will you excuse me for a minute? I have to change into something more comfortable. You could have a seat on the sofa. The remote is right there on the coffee table." he entered the room and closed the door. "OH my god. What is she doing here? Lex will be here in second." he spoke to himself as he quickly changed into something more comfortable. He jogged down the stairs and entered the living room where Karen was located. "So...what brings you to this side of town?" he took a seat beside her.

"I...need to talk to you. I...have a few things to get off my chest." she spoke with her head down. "You see...I've been thinking lately...about you." he held a peculiar look.

"Really? What about? Oh I'm sorry...would you like a drink? I have coke...juice...um some wine coolers in there." he stood up and headed towards the kitchen.

"I'll take a wine cooler."

"Cool." she cleared her throat, and crossed her leg over the other. "God I'm so nervous." she took a deep breath and closed her eyes.

"What are you doing?" she quickly looked up to focus in on him. "Meditating or something?" she chuckled, and  brushed a few strands of her hair behind her ear. "I'm just joking with you." he handed her the wine cooler.

"Thank you."

"You welcome." he took his seat beside her. "So...what were you saying...before I bit your neck off?"

"Um...well I've been thinking about you lately." she looked up to lock eyes with his.

"Really? Like...what type of things were you thinking about that had to do with me?" he sipped his wine cooler.

"Things like...how handsome you look and...how you would be in bed." he slightly choked off his cooler. "Are you okay?" he cleared his throat.

"Um...yeah. I'm...fine. I just..."

"I bet you're thinking that I'm a freak by now." she chuckled. "I just...wanted to tell you how I felt about you. I really...have deep feelings for you. They've been here in my heart since I don't know how long, and...they won't seem to go away. Sometimes...I wish I never felt for you. The feeling can be dangerous at some points."

"Hmm...um like how?"

"Well...once...I tried overdosing myself because...I couldn't have you. Whenever they would come on the news about you dating someone else...I would completely feel...miserable. I've never felt this way about any one, and...beginning to destroy me...psychically." he spoke no word, and held his head down.

"I...I don't know what to say. I mean...I'm sorry. You know...I'm engaged to Alexia. I really love her and...I don't want anything to happen to us. As far...as breaking up. She's the one I really wanna be with. It's just...there's too many women now that...have some sort of...deadly crush on me. They said they've been feeling that way for the longest. Even some friends have crushes on me...out of the girls, that is. What am I supposed to do? I'm a one woman's man. I can't be with every single one of you. That's impossible." she held her head down.

"Uh...hey. What's going on?" they quickly looked up to focus in on Alexia.

"Oh hey, baby." he stood up and embraced her in a hug, slowly meeting lips with hers. "I missed you. Um..." he turned to face Karen. "This is Karen...JC's best friend."

"If she's JC's best friend...why is she here?"

"Because...she needed to speak to me." he locked eyes with hers. She shook her head pathetically.

"Sure. You never learn." he watched her head up the stairs.

"Oh boy. Not again. Um...Karen...you're gonna have to leave. I'm sorry if I sound...mean or whatever but...I have a few things to take care of. I have to...straighten out this girl." he explained.

"Oh...okay." she stood up, and handed him the wine cooler. "Thanks any way." he watched her head towards the door. "I'll talk to you later." she pulled the door open and exited the house. He jogged up the stairs, and entered the room where Alexia was located. He closed the door as he kept his eyes on her, watching her remove her clothes.

"What's your problem?" he asked curiously as he approached her.

"Nothing's my problem. What's your problem? If you keep it up...there will be no US." his eyebrows lifted up questionably.

"Excuse me? Are you threatening our relationship?" she rolled her eyes and headed for the bathroom. "Answer me when I'm talking to you." he gripped her arm, and pulled her towards him. "What the hell has gotten into you? You better tell me it's that time of the month." she turned to face him.

"Fuck you, Justin. You're just like the rest of 'em. All you think about is your dick, and...and what you can do with it." she stammered, trying to find the words to say.

"Just like I said...it better be that time of the month. That's the only excuse for you behaving so oddly." he rested his hand on his hip.

"For your info...we women don't have our periods when we're pregnant." she corrected. "Now why was she over here? The real excuse this time."

"See...that's your damn problem. You always think I'm lying. You can never trust me. WHY IS THAT?!"

"BECAUSE YOU LOOK AND ACT LIKE A PLAYA!" she yelled. "AND THE ONLY THING YOU'RE GOOD FOR IS YOUR FUCKING DICK! WITHOUT IT...YOU'RE NOTHING!" he stared in shock.

"What the hell did you just say? You better take that back."

"Or else?" she stood closely in front of him.

"Or else...I'm gonna...beat your ass." with one swift movement, he threw her on the bed, and climbed on top of her. "Take it back." he pinned her arms over her head.

"Hell no. I mean...why do you think most of these women want you? All they're thinking about his how good you will be in bed. You give them no choice to think that when you be thrusting on stage."

"Take it...back. NOW, Lex." he demanded. "I'm warning you. I won't hesitate to show you who's the man." he peered deeply in her eyes. She rolled her eyes and looked away.

"I'm not taking nothing back. That's all you're good for. And I didn't bite my tongue." he gritted his teeth angrily.

"You little snob. I'm gonna show you." he spread her legs apart, and yanked down his boxers, positioning himself between her legs.

"Stop, Justin. I'm not playing with you."

"Do you see a smile on my face. I'm not playing either. Now wrap your fucking legs around me...now, before I have to make you." he spoke seriously. She slowly wrapped her legs around him, instantly feeling him enter her with a hard thrust. She gasped as her eyes lit up.

"Ohhhh my god. You...you bastard." she bit the bottom of her lip as she felt more pain than pleasure. "Mmm...I hate you. I hate you so much." she moaned, closing her eyes as she enjoyed the pleasure of it.

"I hate you too." he kissed down her neck as he slowed down his pace. "I love you, baby." he looked up to gaze in her eyes. "And...I'm sorry for...inviting Karen in. We did nothing...I swear."

"I know. I just knew arguing would be one way to get you in bed." his eyes lit up. "I was just kidding. Ahaha. I love you too." she slowly met lips with his.
__________

"Ready or not...here I come." Katrina slowly crept down the stairs, and in the living room, gazing around the sinister room. "Joeyyyy? Where art thou Joeyyyy?" she checked behind the sofa. "Hmmm." she focused in on the closet light that was on. "I got you now." swiftly, she pulled the door open, and focused in on nothing but boxes stacked up nearly to the roof. "Hmm. Where could he be?" she cautiously peered in the closet to see more clearly.

All she could remember was being grabbed, eyes covered, and an arm wrapped tight around her. She tried so hard to scream, but the hand covering her mouth made it difficult to. "I got you, and...we're going upstairs." he carried her up the stairs, eyes covered and so was her mouth.
___________

"Okay. So...what do you wanna say to her?" Jamie sat at the coffee table as she helped her sister, Melissa write a letter to a friend.

"Um...I wanna tell her the things I've done and..."

"Alright. Well start it off by writing...Dear so and so. What's her name?"

"We call her Scooby because she loves Scooby Doo." she chuckled.

"Okay. Well write Dear Scooby and a coma after it." she glanced at her watch. "Shit. I have to get ready for the concert. Um...can we finish this later, please? I can't miss the concert." she stood up.

"Okay. Tomorrow?" she smiled warmly.

"Sure." she pecked her on the cheek. "I'll see you later. Oh...maybe you could ask JC to help you with it while I'm gone." she headed up the stairs, and entered the room. She quickly removed her clothes and hopped in the shower. "Damn. I have an hour and a half to get ready. Shit." she bathed her body with a Victoria's Secret apple fragrance shower gel. "Hmmm hmm hmmmm hmmmm." she hummed to herself. She was startled by a door. She hastily looked up to see JC standing by the door. "Oh...you scared the shit out of me. What's up?" he slowly removed his jeans, and stepped in the tub with her.

"I wanted to take a shower with you. I can't do that with my girlfriend?" she chuckled, and rinsed underneath the water.

"Sure you can. I have a concert to be at around nine." his eyes trailed down her glistening figure.

"What concert?" she closed her eyes as she ran water through her hair.

"Um...Brandy. She's in town."

"Oh really?" he moved in closer to her and wrapped his arms around her waist, slowly kissing down her neck. "Why are you so sexy? I just feel like eating you." he spoke softly.

"Sure." she spoke sarcastically. He turned her the opposite direction, and backed her up against the wall.

"You think I'm kidding." he trailed his hand down her thigh, signaling her to spread her legs.

"Jace...I don't think we should be doing this. I'm gonne be la..."

"Shhh." he placed his finger on her lips. "Don't speak." he wrapped her legs around his waist, and slowly entered her completely. She moaned softly, and wrapped her arms around his neck, holding herself up. "Mmmm." he groaned by her ear, nibbling on her earlobe. "You turn me on completely." he spoke by her ear.

"Ohhhhh yes. Mmmm. You turn me on too." she slowly met lips with his. "Harder." she requested. He did what was told, plunging deeper into her with every thrust. She whimpered loudly, and bit the bottom of her lip to prevent from screaming. "I...I love you." he gazed deeply in her eyes.

"I love you too." she once again met lips with his, enjoying all of his compassion.
