Christina walked in the music store and walked in the pop section. She looked for Ashley’s album, but instead she saw hers. “Where’s Ashley’s?” she asked herself.

She walked in the R&B section and spotted Ashley’s album. She was located in the R&B section. Christina frowned and rested her hands on her hips. Jealousy came across her.

Ashley was better than her, and she knew it. She would never see herself in the R&B section. “Ms. Aguilera. Could I have your autograph?” she looked up to see a few people in front of her. She smiled.

“Of coarse.” Christina maybe would never be in the R&B section, but she will still have her fans.

Christina walked in the house and headed straight to the c.d. player. She popped Ashley’s c.d. in the slot and pushed play.

A voice played. Smooth and soft. It reminded her of her. She felt two arms wrap around her waist. “Hey, baby” Justin spoke huskily in her ear.

She turned around and looked into his eyes. “Hi, J.” she kissed him and broke away.

“What are you listening to?”

“Me” she lied.

“Really? You sound tight” he listened closely. “Damn. You sound so…good.” She felt guilty. A high note came up. “Girl, you sure do know how to blow. You could sing better than Ashley.”

“Justin…it’s not me” he stopped smiling.

“Huh?”

“It’s not me. It’s…Ashley. She does sound better than me.” She sat down on the couch, followed by Justin.

“Christy…” he held her hand. “…you’re letting the people get to you. You can’t let nobody put you down. Don’t follow that road.” She looked at him.

“She does sound better than me. And that’s the truth.” Justin rolled his eyes and stood up.

“Look…if you can’t stop doubting yourself I’m going to start thinking different of you. What you are missing is courage. You’re scared to let anyone become bigger than you. You are a very beautiful singer with the voice of an angel. Don’t let the things these IDIOTS are saying, PUT you DOWN” he sighed. “When you start thinking positive of yourself, I’ll be there. But until then…I’m going to be spaced out from you.” She watched as he walked to the stairs.

“What are you trying to say, Justin?” she followed behind him, up the stairs. He walked in the room, followed by Christina.

“I’m saying…I will not be close to you until you get in your head…that you’re very special in your own way. Christy you’re not understanding what they’re trying to do to you guys. Their trying to turn you against each other. And I can SEE THAT THEIR PLAN IS WORKING VERY WELL!” he raised his voice.

“NO IT’S NOT!” she got angry.

“Yes IT IS! AND STOP DENYING IT! IF YOU WANT TO BELIEVE YOUR SISTER IS BETTER THAN YOU GO RIGHT AHEAD. I’M NOT STOPPING YOU! AND SINCE YOU WANT TO BELIEVE THAT, THAN I’M GOING TO BELIEVE IT TOO. YES…ASHLEY DOES SING BETTER THAN YOU! HAPPY?”

“You fucking bastard.” She spoke angrily, and walked out of the room.
