Inside information: TWO CAN PLAY THAT GAME was written in the ending of '00...never revised. Copyrighted in '01. Um...this story came from bored. Lol Yeah I was bored when I came up with the idea. The reason why I have all these stories is because I was bored, and I didn't have a life. I had no job. I just sat home and wrote all day. Now...it's kinda hard to find the time to write. I work, go places more often. So...it's really beginning to get difficult. I don't wanna stop writing for nothing. I just love writing. It took me a few weeks to complete.

Two Can Play That Game (Valentines Day)

Chapter 1 (Free)

Christina grabbed her bags, and headed towards her bedroom door. "Where do you think you're going?" J.C. Followed behind Christina.

"I'm LEAVING YOUR ASS! I'M TIRED OF THIS UNNECESSARY BULLSHIT!" she opened her door, and headed down the stairs.

"NO! YOU'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE!" he gripped her arm, and pushed her against the staircase railing.

"What the FUCK do you think you're doing? You have NO RIGHT TO LAY A HAND ON ME!" she yelled.

"Well if I provided you with a place to live, and spent half of my money on you, I do think I have a right to do that."

"Get...OFF OF ME!" she pushed him violently, and ran down the stairs.

"DON'T WORRY...YOU'LL BE BACK! I'LL BE WAITING FOR YOU DEAR!" he yelled as he watched her exit the house.

Christina sped her car down the road as she cried silently. She had no place to go, or no money saved, but she had to get away from her boyfriend ignorance. "Oh...God help me." she managed to spit out. Then she began to have flashbacks of J.C. And her.

 *~FLASHBACK~*

Christina entered her bedroom, and closed the door behind her. As soon as she dropped her purse by the door someone gripped her neck, and pushed her against the wall. Her eyes lit up as her body began to fill up with anxiety. She didn't know who it was, because of the darkness. "Who..." she gulped down. "Who are you?"

"Turn the light on and see. If you dare." a familiar voice echoed in her ear. She felt herself beginning to calm down. She slowly flicked the light switch on, and came face to face with her immature ass-of-a boyfriend. She sighed deeply, and rolled her eyes.

"JACE! YOU ASS!" she hit him hard on the chest.

"Gotcha good, huh?" he began to laugh hard.

*~END OF FLASHBACK~*

Christina began to cry harder. "God. What am I doing?" then she began to have another flashback, but this one made her even more upset.

 *~FLASHBACK~*

Christina sat on the sofa with her guest. "And then everything would work out if I was to do that."

"Yeah. That's a very good idea. Did I tell you how much I love you?"

"Um...no."

"I love you." she smiled and kissed him on the cheek. She pulled back, and stared into his glistening eyes. He was quite handsome. His face became serious, and she stared at him in confusion. He slowly parted his lips with hers. This sudden outburst made her nervous. "Mmm...Richard." she broke away. "Um...when I said...I love you. I didn't mean for you to kiss me. I meant it in a...friendship way." he kept silent. "Do you understand what i'm talking about?"

"Yes. I do. I'm sorry about that."

"NO. It's okay."

"Christina..." she looked up to stare at her boyfriend. "Could you meet me in the bedroom?"

"Um...sure. Richard...I'll be right back." she stood up, and followed J.C. In the bedroom. She closed the door behind her, and stared at him confused. "What's on your mind?"

"What the FUCK was that?" he spoke angrily.

"Huh? What are..."

"That DAMN GUY out there. Are you seeing him behind my back?"

"What? That's nonsense. Why would you think that?"

"I saw you two kiss."

"JACE..." she began.

"Don't JACE me. Now I WANNA KNOW WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON BETWEEN YOU TWO!" he yelled.

"Nothing is GOING ON!"

"Mmm hmm. That's just like saying a girl kissed me, and I DIDN'T EVEN EXPECT IT TO HAPPEN!" she rolled her eyes.

"Oh so now you're saying I MADE HIM KISS ME?"

"That's right, baby. THAT'S WHAT I'M SAYING!"

"I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS. YOU'RE ACTUALLY EXCUSING ME FOR COMING ON TO THAT MAN!"

"Don't act like you're surprised. What does he have that I don't? Is it because he's the CEO of Jive records? Or...maybe it's the sex thing." she stared in shock. He approached her, and stood closely in front of her. "Tell me something...does he fuck you the way that I do? Can he make you yell...and SCREAM HIS NAME!" she held her head down. "I think not."

*~END OF FLASHBACK~*

"Fucking bastard." she spoke angrily. "Well...all that matters is...i'm free from his bullshit." she spoke to herself.

20 minutes later she pulled up in front of a coffee shop, and parked her. She could feel a lot of eyes burning a hole into her, as she sat on the bar stool. "May I help you?" a bar tender spoke.

"Yes. Um...I would like to order a small capuccino. Light on the sugar please."

"No problem." she sighed, and held her head down.

"Damn. I'm...messed up." she felt someone sit beside her. She slowly lifted her head up, and looked to the side. Her eyes came across the most beautiful human being she had ever laid eyes on. He looked at her, and she quickly looked away.

"May I help you?" the bar tender asked the guy.

"I'll take a medium sized capuccino. A little sugar please."

"Okay." the lady walked away.

"Here's your capuccino, light sugar." the guy bar tender sat it in front of her. "Would you like a straw with that?"

"No thank you." she smiled.

"Okay. I'll be back with your bill."

"Okay." she watched he guy walk away. Christina slowly sipped the hot substance, and could feel someone staring at her. She rested her cup down, and hesitantly looked to the side. There he was, the most beautiful guy in the world. He stared into her eyes, and formed a smile.

"Hello." he spoke the first word.

"H...hi." she stammered lightly and could feel her cheeks burning.

"What's your name?" she smiled shyly.

"Um...Christina."

"It's a pretty name. My name's Justin. So...do you come here often?"

"Well...this is my first time ever coming here. It seems like a nice place."

"Yeah. It does." she smiled. "You have a beautiful smile."

"I hear that all the time."

"That's good. So...are you a tourist or..."

"No. I live here in California."

"Really?" his eyes lit up. "I do also. Every person that i've met were tourist. I was guessing you were one too, but I guess I guessed wrong." she chuckled.

"Here's your capuccino, sir."

"Thank you." the lady sat the steaming substance in front of him.

"Would you like a straw with that?"

"I'm sorry, but I don't drink with straws."

"Okay. I'll be back with your bill."

"Great." Justin smiled, and looked back at Christina. "So Christina...do you mind if I ask where you live?"

"Well I lived with my boyfriend in Oakwood Manors, but...not anymore."

"Oh so you're seeing someone?"

"Well I was until now." her face became serious.

"Oh...I'm so sorry. What happened? I mean...if you mind me asking."

"We got into this HUGE argument, because some guy flirted with me at the store. I mean...it's not like I MADE HIM flirt with me. He always blame me for what someone else does, and it's NOT FAIR!"

"I understand."

"Yeah. It's not my fault I'm pretty, and a lot of guys come on to me."

"You're right. You are pretty. Actually beautiful. The most beautiful woman I've ever saw." Christina's eyes lit up.

"Really? Do you mean that?"

"I sure do." she held her head down.

"Thank you."

"The pleasures all mine."

"Here's your bill. Do you want to pay now?" the guy asked.

"Sure." Christina dug in her pocket for her money when she felt someone tap her on the shoulder. She looked up to stare at Justin.

"I got it." Justin grabbed a twenty from out of his wallet and handed it to the guy. "I would like to pay for the both of us. That lady has my bill."

"Okay. Be right back with your change." the guy walked away. Justin stared at Christina.

"Thank you."

"No problem." he sighed. "So...where do you stay now?"

"Um...actually...no where. I...I don't know where to go now. I left my ex-boyfriend's house, and now...I have no place to go. Maybe i'll just...live in my car until I find a place to live."

"Oh...no. You shouldn't do that. I mean...that's dangerous."

"I know, but where am I going to go? I have no place to live at this point, and no money saved. I don't wanna go back to that hell house." Justin kept quiet as he thought of something.

"Christina..." she looked up at him. "I know...we only met today, but...I can't live knowing you're living in a car somewhere. So...would you take my offer, and move in with me? You could stay with me until you find a place of your own." she stared in shock.

"Are you inviting me into your home? I mean...a total straner?"

"Yes I am. Please take my offer. I won't leave you alone until you say yes." she thought for a few seconds.

"Okay. I'll move in with you until I find a place of my own."

"Great. Well...I gotta go to a meeting, but I could show you to my house before I head to my meeting, and you could be straightening out your things while i'm gone."

"Sure." she hopped off of the stool, and followed Justin out of the shop.
