Three years later (Orlando, FL)

The wind gust by Aaliyah as she slowly walked out on the beach. There was no one around at the time which made her began to think. How come everyone seemed to disappear? Just a week ago, there were hundreds of people out on the beach, just enjoying the sun and having the time of their life. At the moment, it could pass for a private beach.

Her boyfriend, Justin who she met when she was, well she couldn't even remember the age. It had been so long ago. He was out, hanging with his homeboys, JC, Chris, Lance, and Joey. She couldn't really get along with Joey because he flirted and played too much. Chris was alright to her, he just liked to joke around. Lance on the other hand was the most sweet guy you could ever know. He was so quiet, and he had the most sexiest deep voice that just gave her the chills whenever he even spoke a word. He was so respectful and the one thing she loved about him was his eyes. He had the most gorgeous green eyes.

JC was very sternly. It wasn't a bad thing, but she loved a man who can joke around with her, and have fun whenever she wanted to. JC just liked to sit around, and keep to himself. And Justin. Justin is what you call the cool and outgoing person. He was serious at some points, whenever it came down to his work, but he sure did know how to have fun when it was the right time.

She smiled at herself as she kept thinking about him. And she wondered what he was doing at the moment. Probably watching a game on satellite. Or maybe playing board games with his four best friends. That's what they do usually when there's nothing ELSE to do.

Her little three year old daughter, that she had from Justin ran towards her way with a sea shell in her hand. "Mommy, mommy. Lookie." she kneeled down in front of her and examined what she held in her hand. "You see. It's pretty, and it mine." she chuckled, and looked up, gazing in her light brown eyes. "You like?"

"Yeah. It's very pretty." she glanced at it once more. "It's something that I never saw before. Save it so you could show it to your daddy. He should be home soon." she stood up, and crossed her arms over her chest as she followed behind the three year old. "You think you ready to go in? It's getting dark out here."

"No. I don't wanna leave yet. I wanna get more shells. Help me find some, mommy. Go check over there." she pointed towards the shallow part of the ocean. She sighed, and brushed her lose hair behind her ear.

"Alright, but after I do...we're going inside. You have to take a shower and eat." she kneeled down on the cool sand, and dug through it with her hands. "Where's a shell? Where's a..." she trailed off as she focused in on a shell. "Great." she grabbed it and stood up, turning to face the opposite way where Brandi was, but there was no sign of her. "Brandi?" she gazed around the beach area. "Brandi? Where are you?" she began to get paranoid. "Shit." she dropped the shell, and jogged up towards the main entrance of the beach. "BRANDI?!" she called even louder. "Oh god. Where's my baby?"

"I'm right here, mommy." she hastily turned and focused in on Brandi who ran up towards her with two handfuls of shells. "I got lots of them. See." she closed her eyes, and sighed of relief.

"That's enough of shell hunting for tonight. WE are going inside. You scared the hell out of me." she picked her up, and carried her out of the beach.

"But I wasn't finished. Put me down, mommy. Please...put me downnnn." she cried.

"Brandi...don't start that. Do you realize what time it is? It's going on nine o' clock. Mommy has to be at work tomorrow." she pouted and rested her head on her shoulder. "I promise I'll bring you back tomorrow.  We only stay a block away from here, okay?" she brushed her cheek delicately with her hand, and placed a soft kiss there. "Don't cry." she helped her in the front seat, and closed the door. "Damn it's cool out here." she shivered, quickly hopping in the car, and pulling out of the lot. "I can't wait to get back home. I need to start dinner, and...let's see. It's almost time for Christmas. Did you finish your list?" she gazed to the side to stare at her. Brandi sat there, playing with her Barbie doll, keeping to herself. She smiled slyly, and reached out, rubbing through her hair caressingly. "Don't be sad. I'll bring you back tomorrow. I promise." she finally paid more attention to her hair, realizing it was nearly covered with sand. "Damn. Look at your hair. Now I have to wash it again. As soon as we get inside...I want you to hop in the tub." she pulled up in front of a two-story house, and parked her Jaguar in the driveway. "Home sweet home." she unbuckled her seat belt, and turned the car off. "Don't forget those shells. I bet I'm gonna have to clean my car out tomorrow. There's sand everywhere."

"Mommy...can I go to Sam's house?" she asked in a serene tone as she followed her inside the house.

"Not today. You haven't even showered yet. You also need to eat dinner. Maybe tomorrow. She could probably come to the beach with us. How's that sound?" she closed the front door, and locked it.

"Okay." Justin exited the kitchen, chewing on a chicken wing as he entered the living room. He instantly focused in on Aaliyah and Brandi entering the house. Brandi focused in on him and smiled excitedly. "DADDDYYYYYY!!!!" she ran up towards him and jumped on him.

"Hey, sweetheart." he embraced her in a tight hug, and kissed her on the forehead. "Where have you been? Daddy was beginning to worry." he helped her to her feet, and slowly approached Aaliyah.

"Me and mommy went to the beach and found cazillion of shells. See." she pulled a few out of her pockets and held them up.

"Wow. Why don't you go upstairs and add them to our SHELL collection. Tomorrow we can go find some more, okay?" he kissed her on the cheek and watched her run up the stairs. "No running." he chuckled, and gazed to the side to focus in on Aaliyah who sat her purse on the coffee table and removed her hair burette. "Hey, sexy." he instantly wrapped his arms around her waist, and met lips with hers.

"Mmm." she broke away, and licked her lips. "Why does your lips taste like barbeque sauce." she continuously licked her lips, enjoying the taste of the sauce.

"I was just grubbing on some chicken wings that I made for dinner." her eyebrows lifted up questionably. "I figured...when you got home...you probably wouldn't have been in the mood to cook dinner so...I cooked instead. Chicken wings, rice, corn, corn bread AND for dessert, Brandi's favorite...brownies. You hungry?" she shook her head pathetically. "What? What's wrong? What did I do now?" she chuckled.

"It's nothing. You're just so...thoughtful. That was a nice thing to do. Actually I wasn't in the mood to cook, but...I was going to. I thought you would have still been with your homeboys. When did you come home?" she kicked her slippers off, and headed up the stairs.

"I got here a hour and a half ago." her eyes lit up.

"Really? Damn." she entered the room. "We were out there for that long? You must have just gotten here when we left. I'm tellin' you. Brandi...she is so wild. She started crying when we were about to leave. Knowing me...I probably would have spanked her but...you don't believe in beatings."

"You better not had laid a hand on my sweetheart." he frolicked. "Or I would have spanked you." she rolled her eyes playfully, and entered the bathroom.

"Could you do me a favor and was Brandi's hair out? She got sand in it once again." he leaned against the dresser, and crossed his arms over his chest, watching her rinse underneath the water.

"Sure. I'll do it. Um...I'll be downstairs waiting for you. I don't wanna eat until you do." he headed out the room.

"Okay. See ya' downstairs." she ran water through her hair. He smiled to himself and exited the room.

A few seconds later, he entered Brandi's room, and peered in her bathroom to see her sitting in a tub full of running water, playing with her Barbie doll. "You take that doll wherever you go." he entered the bathroom, and kneeled down beside the tub, watching her talk to her doll.

"Susie wants you to leave. She's not use to a boy seeing her naked." he chuckled, and grabbed "Loreal's" shampoo from out of the cabinet.

"Well tell Susie I'm sorry, but I can't. I have to wash your hair. Mommy asked me too." he kneeled down beside the tub, and poured some of the liquid in the palm of his hand. "Tilt your head back. You know the drill." she kissed the Barbie doll, and sat her in the corner of the tub.

"You're next, Susie." she tilted her head back and closed her eyes. Justin carefully rubbed in the shampoo, and massaged it into her scalp. "Daddy...can I go to Samantha's house? Her mother said I could come over."

"When did you speak to Sam?" he caressed her scalp with the sudsy substance.

"Just a few minutes ago. She said I could come over." her massaged the shampoo on the sides and the back of her scalp continuously.

"Did you talk to your mother about it? It's all up to mommy." she sucked her teeth, and lifted her head up.

"But she..."

"Keep your head down. You don't want any shampoo getting in your eyes. You know what happened last time." she tilted her head back and scratched the side of her neck.

"Mommy said I couldn't go over there tonight because I had to wash off, and eat." she explained.

"Alright...we're gonna wash this out. Lay down for me." she unfolded her legs, and laid flat on her back as Justin kept her head from out of the water, washing the suds out. "Mommy said no, so what does that mean? No, right?" she nodded timidly. "Okay. You can't go tonight. Tomorrow. It's too late for you to be out at somebody's house any way." she frowned, and grabbed her doll, throwing it at the door.

"You guys are so mean, and unfare." he chuckled.

"If we were mean, you would be getting ass whoopin's everyday with that smart mouth of yours. And we are fare. You get to do whatever the hell you want. You just don't like to take no for an answer, and I don't know who you got that from. Sure not from your mother and I. We take no for an answer...even a hint." he paused. "But...you'll understand one day...when you're older with a few kids. Sit up." she slowly sat up as he rung her hair out. "We just love you." he kissed her on the cheek, and stood up, grabbing the towel from off the rod. "I think it's time for you to get out. You've been in here long enough." she stood up, and allowed him to wrap the towel around her. "Go put on your nighty." he leaned over and released the plug, hearing the water drain out quickly.
_________

"Ahahahaha. Stop...please." Aaliyah begged Justin to stop telling her about his past as she laughed, covering her mouth full of food. "Stop it, Justin. You're gonna make me choke. Ahahaha." he chuckled, and gulped down his coke.

"I'm serious. It's just...I can never forget about that. She was just standing there with this...zombie look on her face. You know...like...ahaha." he began laughing. "You know like the...ahahaha." Aaliyah forced herself not to laugh, but it was too difficult to do.

"Oh god." she stood up, covering her mouth as she broke out laughing once again. "Stop. Just...stop. AHAHAHA!" she quickly paced to the other side of the dining room and laughed to herself, eyes watery. Her stomach began to hurt immensely. "Oh my god. AHAHAHA!" she kneeled down, hugging herself. "You...bastard. Haha." she sniffled, and gazed to the side to focus in on Justin who also kept laughing as he banged his fist on the table. She giggled, and slowly stood up, avoid looking at him, because she knew she would have kept laughing if she did. She took her seat at the table, and wiped underneath her diluted eyes. "Boy." she sighed heavily, and sipped her juice. "That was something." she cleared her throat and gazed to the side to notice Brandi gone. "Where is Brandi? See..." she stood up and headed out the dining room. "...you had to make me laugh. Now I don't know where that child of yours went." she peered in the living room to see Brandi sitting on the sofa, watching cartoons. "There she is." she crossed her arms over her chest and smirked. "She's always wandering off." he wrapped his arms around her waist from behind and kept his eyes on Brandi who had her eyes glued on the TV screen.

"Yeah. She's just like you." he joked. The doorbell rung loud and clear throughout the house.

"I'll go get it." she headed towards the front door, and unbarred it, slowly pulling it open to focus in on a blond. The lady looked quite familiar to her. She just didn't remember where she knew her from. "Um...hey."

"Hello? Is Justin here?" she held a confused look.

"Um...yeah." she looked over her shoulder to gaze at Justin. "Baby...someone's at the door for you." she turned back to face the woman. "Do I know you from somewhere? You look...so familiar." she squinted her eyes to get a better look at her.

"I...don't know."

"Yep?" Justin peered out the door to lock eyes with a familiar person. His eyes lit up of astonishment. "Oliver?" he froze, and gulped down. "Wh...what are you doing here?" Aaliyah's eyes lit up also.

"Oliver? Yeah. Now I remember where I know you from. You graduated from the same school I graduated from. It's been a long time. What are you doing here?" she rested her hand on her hip.

"I...came to see Justin." she spoke in a hard to realize, attitude. "Now if you don't mind...could I talk to him alone? It's really important that he get this info." Aaliyah's head jerked back offensively.

"I..."

"Baby...it'll only take a minute. I'll meet you back in the dining room." Justin assured. She rolled her eyes and turned, heading towards the dining room. "So...what is it?" he rested his hand on his hip as he waited for her response.

"I can't believe it's you. I mean...I've been looking everywhere for you." he licked his lips and held his head down.

"Is this the important thing you had to tell me?" he looked up to gaze in her eyes. "I think you should leave. I don't even know why you came here. You know I'm with someone, and I have a daughter. I plan on taking this relationship to the next level, and not YOU OR ANYONE is going to mess that up."

"You know what?" Aaliyah quickly approached the two. "I want you to get the hell out of here. You're on private property and I could have you arrested." she stood in front of Oliver.

"Baby, don't..."

"STEP THE FUCK OFF, JUSTIN!" she raised her voice. "This BITCH is gonna do what I say or..."

"Or else what?" she interrupted with a smirk on her face. "You know...you're just like the other ones." she took a step forward, moving in closer to her. "You don't have the guts to even HIT me." she sized her body down, disgustingly. "Your skinny ass probably couldn't hurt a fly." she spat out.

"You BITCH!" she swung her fist, striking her in the fast. "I'M SKINNY?! I CAN'T HURT A FLY!?! LET'S SEE WHO'S GONNA WIN THIS BATTLE! GET YOUR STANKIN' ASS UP...NOW BITCH!" Justin grasped her, holding her back.

"Don't do this. Not in front of Brandi."

"GET...OFF ME!" she squirmed in his arms, struggling to get lose. "Let me go. This bitch is gonna pay for coming on my property and startin' shit she KNOW SHE CAN'T FINISH!" she kicked her feet violently, desperately trying to get lose. "LET ME GO! GET OFF ME, JUSTIN! I SWEAR I'M GONNA BEAT HER FUCKING ASS! JUST LET ME GO!"

"NO! I WILL NOT LET YOU GO!" He raised his voice. "I want you to go upstairs to the room, and wait for me. I'll be there shortly. GO...NOW!" He demanded, releasing her and watching her storm up the stairs and in the room, slamming the door behind her. He turned to face Oliver who stood there, patting her swollen cheek delicately. "You okay?" she locked eyes with his, instantly slapping him across the face.

"You asshole. How could you let her hit me like that? You're nothing but a dog. You fucking bitch." she pushed him up against the wall, and continuously swung her fists at him.

"HEY! STOP!" he pushed her off him, watching her slam against the opposite wall in front of him. "YOU CRAZED ANIMAL! What's your fucking problem?! I saved YOUR ASS FROM GETTING FUCKED UP! IF I DIDN'T HOLD HER BACK...SHE WOULD'VE PRACTICALLY KILLED YOU!" he rubbed his aching cheek. "You deserved it any way."

"Ugh." she charged for him, swinging her fists once again. "I HATE YOU! I HATE...YOU! YOU CAN GO TO HELL FOR ALL I CARE!" he held both of her arms, shaking her violently.

"IF YOU LAY ANOTHER HAND ON ME...I SWEAR TO GOD...I WILL KICK YOUR ASS MYSELF! YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A BITCH! NO ONE TOLD YOUR ASS TO COME HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE! YOU THOUGHT I WAS GONNA ACCEPT YOU BACK INTO MY LIFE?! WHO THE FUCK DO I LOOK LIKE?! YOUR BOY TOY OR SOMETHING!" he pushed her up against the wall. "YOU KEEP YOUR DAMN HANDS TO YOURSELF! YOU WOULDN'T WANT ME TO HIT YOU! I SWEAR...IF I DO...I WOULD KNOCK YOUR ASS OUT COLD!" his eyes were steaming red, and steam wafted out of his ears.

"Punta (Bitch)." she spit on his face. "Eat my pussy, you fucking homosexual." he gritted his teeth angrily.

"No, you suck my fucking BIG, hairy DICK, you DUMB...BLOND!" he yanked on her arm, and pulled the front door open, pushing her out of the house. "Get the hell off my property before I kick your ass AND THEN HAVE YOU ARRESTED!" he slammed the door shut, and locked it, sighing of relief.
