“Well…take care of yourself,
hun.” Lynn pecked him on the cheek. “By the way…that girl of yours seem
very energetic. Is she like that when ya’ll are in bed?” Justin’s eyes
expanded.
“MA’. I can’t believe you just said that.”
“What?” she looked innocent. “I know what
you teens do now a days. Remember I was a teen before.” He sighed. “Well
any way. Be good.”
“I love you.”
“I love you too.” She smiled and walked
away. Justin sighed and closed the door.
“OH God. Please help us.” He prayed.
THE NEXT
MORNING (11:32 AM)
“Becca…what is up with you?
How you be having these sudden outburst. Like…you might be mad, sad, sick,
or sleeping, and you suddenly do these things that no one expected. You’re
weird. Sometimes you scare me.” Justin stared at her from across the
table. She continued to eat her apple jacks without saying a word.
“Huh?” Justin rolled his eyes.
“Have you been listening at all?” he asked
“Yeah. I heard you. These apple jacks are
THE BOMB!”
“I’m glad you like them.” Justin’s eyes
focused in on a shadow that he saw behind the shades of the window. The
shadow walked up to their door and dropped something, then quickly ran
away. Rebecca looked at Justin to see a horried look on his face.
“What’s wrong?” he stood up.
“Stay here.” He walked up to the window and
peaked out. The coast was clear, so he opened the door and looked down to
see a note. It read: 2nd warning. He quickly picked it up and
closed the door.
“Hey.” He had the note behind his back and
turned around. “What you got there?”
“Uh…nothing.” He stuffed it in his back
pocket.
“No. What are you talking about?” he
gulped down hard and sat on the sofa.
“Justin…don’t lie to me.”
“I’m not.”
“You promise.” He paused.
“Yeah. I promise.” He said without eye
contact. She smiled and kissed him.
“I believe you.” He felt guilty for lying
to her, but she couldn’t know about the letter, because she might freak
out, and go in her state of frightness. She was happy right then and he
wanted it to stay that way.
“I gotta use the restroom. I’ll be back.”
He kissed her and left her sight. He walked in the bathroom and closed the
door. He grabbed the note from out of his pocket and opened it up. It
read: 2nd warning. He took a deep breath and continued to read.
If you’re reading this before 12:00 means you didn’t listen to me. I
warned you to leave, but you didn’t. What am I going to do with you,
Justin? Am I going to have to cut your penis off and feed it to the dogs?
Or what about your…”
Someone opened the door.
Justin quickly turned around to see Rebecca. “Um…” he hid the paper behind
his back.
“I saw that paper in your hand, Justin.
What are you trying to hide from me?” she approached him. “Give me what’s
behind your back.”
“Um…I can’t”
“Why?”
“Um…” he stammered.
“Give it to me, Justin. If you don’t, I’m
gone. I can’t be with you if you keep secrets from me.” He sighed and
revealed the paper. She grabbed it and read the cover. “2nd
warning? What is this?” she opened it up and read:
if you’re reading this before 12:00 that means you didn’t
listen to me.
She looked up at Justin
confused and began to read out loud.
I warned you to leave, but you
didn’t. What am I going to do with you, Justin? Am I going to have to cut
your penis off and feed it to the dogs?”
she covered her mouth in shock and
continued to
read out loud.
“Or what about your
pretty girlfriend? She looks tasty enough to be fed to the hungry,
drooling dogs. I don’t know…you figure out what should I do. Or I will, if
you don’t leave. This is your second warning. I want you two gone out of
town before 9 at night. Or you’ll be sorry if you don’t.

She looked up at Justin and threw the paper
down on the sink counter. “Justin. Where’s the 1st warning?”
“What are you talking about?”
“Stop LYING TO ME! If there’s a 2nd
warning, then there has to be a 1st WARNING!” he sighed and
held his head down.
