Inside information: UPS AND DOWNZ was written in the beginning of '00...never revised. Copyrighted in '00. My granny was one of the first ppl to read this story. She thought it was really sweet. She's a Christian and she would never guess what type of stories I write. Lol. She gets on my nerves sometimes, though. But I'm sure someone out there gets on someone's nerves. It took me a day to finish this story.

AM I DREAMING?

Chapter 8

I drove out of the parking lot, on my way home. “Now how do you feel about hearing Justin’s true side?”

“I don’t know. I mean…he could’ve set that up, because he knew I would be listening somewhere”

“AW, listen to you. He could’ve set it up? Well he could’ve, but why with Britney. Think about it. You Just don’t want to get in your head that he likes you. I know he does. I can see it in his eyes, but you can’t” I sighed to her comment. “Just have mercy on the man. Give him a chance to show you how much he likes you”

“I don’t know. That’s a hard decision. Getting involved with Justin Timberlake”

“But you’re going to have to see his face everyday until the tour is over. Hell they might even decide to have ya’ll as permanent dancers, then what are you gonna do? Try to space him out? When you know…”she pointed to me. “…you really want him deep inside”.

“Maybe” I looked at her when she gave me this look. “Okay I really want him. I want him soo bad. I’ve always dreamed of Justin falling in love with me, and we getting married. Moving in a big house somewhere out in L.A. and having 2 or 3 children”. I woke up out of my fantasy.

“You know that could happen right?”

“I guess, but when he treated me that mean way the other night, I don’t know what to do”

“Well you’ve got him where you want him. And you know that” she smile to comfort me.

“I don’t know what to do” I just thought of an idea. “Hey” I whispered in her ear. Her eyes lit up.

“What a great idea. Now we’re getting somewhere” we both snickered.

30 MINUTES LATER

I was sitting on my bed when my phone ringed.

“Hello…oh hey girl” it was Beverly.

“What’s up”

“Nothing. I’m just thinking about some things” I sighed.

“OR do you mean some one?”

“How did you know?” she figured me out.

“Well, now tell me who could resist a pair of blue eyes and curly hair?”

“I guess nobody. So what you been up to?” I laid flat on the bed.

“I was heading to bed, and I just wanted to call somebody, so I called you” I laughed “So when do you go in for rehearsal?”

“OH shit” I covered my mouth.

“What?”

“I supposed to ask the choreographer before I left, but we were so busy watching Justin and his…chick”

“You mean his ex” she corrected me, in a smart way.

“So what are you trying to get at?”

“Nothing. Well I whooped. So I’ll call you tomorrow. Well actually I’ll see you tomorrow” she yawned

“Okay. Bye”

“Bye” we both hung up. I rested my head on my pillow and sighed. As soon as I closed my eyes I heard a knock on the door. “Who could that be?” I asked myself while I got out of bed.

It couldn’t be my mother, because she’s working late, and if it was she has the key so she doesn’t have to knock. Another knock woke me out of my thoughts. “I’m coming” I said as I jogged down the stairs. I straightened myself up and slowly opened the door.

“Oh my God” was I dreaming, because how could this person know where I stayed?
