MY ANSWER
Chapter 9

“What are you doing here? I mean…how did you know where I stay. I hope you haven’t been stalking me”

“No I haven’t”

“So how did you get my address?”

“You could say I got it from a very special some one”

“Well who? Beverly?” he walked in on his own. I closed the door behind him.

“I was told not to tell” he looked around. “Nice place”

“Yeah…whatever. So could you please leave?” he ignored my statement and sat on my kitchen chair.

“I came here to try one more time. Just give me an answer” I just thought about the dance practice rehearsal.

“Do you know when do we come in for rehearsal?” I ignored his statement and hopped on another subject.

“Tomorrow at 9 a.m.” he stared deeply in my eyes. I looked away.

“So. I thought you said you were through with Britney?”

“I am. She just stopped by to ask me if I could accept her back, because Nick Carter broke up with her”

“She went with Nick Carter?” I played dumb.

“Yep. Lame Ass Nick Carter. Oh excuse my language”

“Well I think he’s very handsome. I wish I could’ve went with him” I said purposely.

“You would pick him over me?”

“Well…yeah. He probably has a better attitude than you do” I turned away.

“So that’s the problem?” he asked me as he looked me up and down in a sexy way. That really turned me on. I hopped on another subject before something happened.

“So did you accept her?” I already knew the answer I was just trying to find something to say.

“Why do you wanna know? It’s not like we’re together” he said smartly.

“Oh I KNOW THAT” I crossed my arms over my chest. “Well aren’t you going to leave?”

“Yeah…” he stood up and approached me. “…but not until I get an answer from you”.

“What are you talking about?” I played dumb.

“You know what I’m talking about. I want an answer and I won’t leave until I get a straight one”

“I…don’t know” I stammered because he was so close to me that our bodies were touching each others.

“ You must’ve didn’t hear me clearly when I said ‘straight’ answer. Not a ‘I don’t know’, but a ‘yes’, or ‘no’” I tried to slip from underneath him, but he trapped me with both of his arms.

“What do you want from me?”

“I want an answer right here and right now. Make it better, I’m gonna ask you a more simple question. Do you like me?”

“Huh?”

“I ask do you like me?”

“Well…” he gave me a look to keep on going. “…um…y…” I looked away. “…yeah” I whispered.

“What was that? I didn’t hear it clearly” he moved my face to look at him.

“I said…yeah” just then he backed away from me.

“GREat. That solves the problem. So I’ll see you tomorrow” he started walking to the door.

“Wait. I meant I like you as a friend and not more than that” he paused and turned around to face me.

“Okay. Well another question. You know I want you a lot. So would you consider you and I going out?”

“I…”

“Straight answer. You know how bad I want you”

“Well…uh…” I put my finger on my chin. “…I’ll tell you straight up…” his eyebrows lifted. “…NO…now leave” I stared at him as I watched the look of hope in his eyes fade away. I could tell he really wanted me and I wanted him, but I had to stick to the plan. I had to see how bad he wanted me.

He left before I even realized. I sat on the couch, in a daze. I don’t think I could stick to this plan. I don’t know if I should give up and be with him, or continue until something bad happens. I guess I don’t have a choice but to do…
