YOU MAKE ME SICK

Chapter 12

“This outfit is so pretty.” She looked at it as they walked out of the mall.

“I bet it will look cute on you”

“Yep. It would.”

“Justin Timberlake” they both turned around to see a young girl. “Hi.” She smiled shyly.

“Hello. How are you?”

“I’m swell. Um…I wanted to know if I could have you guys autograph?”

“Of coarse.” She handed him a pen and a magazine. He glimpsed at the front cover to see him and Rebecca smiling at each other. The title read: The Tenn Man has a new love. J.C. Chasez’s sister and Justin Timberlake hit it off. He smiled and scribbled his signature by his face. He handed it to Rebecca. She glimpsed at it and smiled. “Wow. I’m already in the magazine” she said as she scribbled her signature down.

“I also have an old magazine of you and Joanne” the girl spoke up.

“Really? Do you have it with you now?”

“Yep. Do you want to see it?”

“Nevermind.” He handed her the magazine.

“Thank you so much, Mr. Timberlake, and Ms. Chasez. I think you’re prettier than Joanne.”

“Thank you.” Rebecca spoke up.

“Take care now. Okay?” Justin said.

“Oh I promise. Bye”

“Bye” they walked up to the car and got in. Justin pulled out of the parking lot, and they waved one more time at the girl before they left.

“Your fans are so sweet”

“I know. I love ‘em” he smiled. Rebecca  pulled out the tommy outfit and examined it.

“I’m wearing this when I go meet your mother.”

“No you’re not”

“What do you mean…no I’m not?”

“You’re not. It looks too sluttish for my mother’s eyes to see.”

“Wait a minute. I know you’re not telling me what to wear?”

“That’s what I’m telling you” she pouted.

“This is so unfair. You make me sick”

“Well go to the hospital.” He joked.

“Wait a minute…didn’t we discuss this before we got together? For you not to tell me what to do or wear? But you are.”

“Look…you could wear anything you want. Just not in front of my mom. I want her to have a good impression on you. I don’t want her thinking you’re a slut”

“Well then…if I can’t wear what I want. I’m not going”

“Becca…please don’t do this”

“I don’t have a choice” he sighed.

“Alright. Fine.” He made a hard u-turn. Justin pulled up in his driveway and parked the car. He got out and headed straight for the house.

Rebecca opened her door and got out. She walked behind Justin. He opened the door and closed it, forgetting all about Rebecca.

She opened the door and walked in, slamming it behind her. “What is your problem? You almost slammed the door physically on my face.”

“So.” He spit out coldly. He walked In the living room where J.C. and Joey was. “Hey guys.” Justin sat beside J.C. and avoided eye contact with Rebecca.

“Hey sexy momma” Joey spoke up.

“So…what did you guys do?” J.C. asked Justin.

“Don’t ask me. Ask your perfect sister over there” Rebecca flashed her eyes at him.

“Could you guys give us some privacy please?” they looked up at her and didn’t move. “I said…COULD YOU GUYS GIVE US SOME PRIVACY…PLEASE!” she yelled. They immediately stood up.

“Let’s go check out that restaurant.” Joey stated.

“Yeah. I think that would be a good idea.” J.C. stared at Justin. “I’ll pray for you man. If you make it out of here alive…call me and let us know” they quickly left the house. She locked the door and approached him.

“What the FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU? HUH?” he didn’t eye contact her. “LOOK AT ME WHEN I’M TALKING TO YOU!” he sucked his teeth and still didn’t bother to look at her. “JUSTIN RANDALL TIMBERLAKE…WHAT has gotten INTO YOU?”

“YOU!” he pointed to Rebecca.

“Oh it’s me? And why is that?”

“You think YOU COULD GO ANYWHERE LOOKING LIKE A HOE? There’s a time and a place for all of that and that time and that place is NOT AROUND MY MOTHER.”

“If you don’t lower your voice, I’m…”

“You’re what? You’re going to leave me because I’m right? I’m telling the truth? You just can’t stand it when you’re wrong sometimes? Admit it. You’re wrong this time. You don’t dress any kind of way WHEN YOU’RE AROUND CERTAIN ADULTS! Get that in YOUR FUCKING HEAD!” he sighed. “So what are you waiting for? Yell. SCREAM! Do what you love the best. BOSS or CURSE ME OUT! Or do what people do when they can’t stand to be wrong…LEAVE!” she kept quiet and cried silently. “Wipe those fake ass tears from off of your eyes. Go on…curse me out or yell at me. It’s not going to do any good.” She sat on the couch.

“You’re right”

“Oh. She said something. What a miracle” he said sarcastically. She sniffled.

“I think I should tell you why I was protecting my stomach lately.” He looked at her confused.
