TOO LATE Chapter 15Rebecca was rushed to the emergency room where she found out a big surprise. “Ms. Chasez. I’m sorry to inform you this, but you lost your baby” “What?” she brushed her face with her hand. “This could’ve happened in three ways…” “Wait. You never told me you were pregnant” “I’m sorry. I was going to tell you” “When? When you were in your 8th or 9th month?” she sighed. “No…I…I…” she stammered. “Just what I thought” he pranced back and forth around the hospital room. J.C. and Joey walked in the room. “Becca…where’s the baby?” “Can I see him or her?” “NO” “Why?” Joey asked. “Because the spirit’s no longer with us” she said sadly. “Oh. I’m sorry, Becca. Maybe you can try again later.” “Just…SHUT UP! I’m tired of HEARING YOUR PITINESS. STOP FEELING SORRY FOR ME!” she yelled at J.C. “Okay. I was just trying to help” “Well help, and get your asses out!” she demanded. “Come on, Joey. She doesn’t need us since she has Justin.” He said as they walked out of the room. “Ms. Chasez…that could’ve been one of the reasons why you lost your baby. All of the yelling” “You don’t know what you’re talking about” “Becca. Don’t say that” Justin demanded. “You shut up or leave” “I’ll leave.” He turned around and headed for the door. “No. I think the father should stay to hear the news.” “He’s not the father.” “Then who is?” Justin asked. She didn’t respond. “Don’t tell me you’ve been having an affair?” “No. I haven’t” “Then who is the father?” she sighed. “Ms. Chasez. Just like I was saying…this could’ve happened in 3 ways. Either you’ve been having intercourse when you were pregnant. You could’ve been eating a lot of unnessary foods or you’ve been punched in the stomach.” She gasped and looked at Justin. “NOOOOO! THAT BITCH!” she yelled. THE END COPYRIGHTED, PUBLISHED 2001~~~SHONA AUTHORS NOTE: There’s a lot of things that don’t make sense in this story. One…how was Rebecca pregnant and didn’t show it? Her baby didn’t even develop and she lost it. Second…why would Britney go with the plan just for money? She was rich any ways or maybe she was just plan greedy. Third…what did the doctor mean about Rebecca getting punched in the stomach? Is it possible that Joanne snuck in their hotel in the middle of the night and punched her in her stomach, and maybe it was happening at the same time in her dream? How could she have gotten in the hotel? Maybe Justin let her in or maybe it was just a dream. I know this was a weird story and you may never solve the mysteries, but that’s why it’s called fiction. Fiction stories was told to be real, so if it’s not real…anything can be unfactual. The one thing that is factual is…teen life is weird, and we could never change that.
