Inside information: Oh lord...now I can admit that this one the worse story I have ever wrote. I don't know what I was thinking. I was too bored. That's what it was. Well...a few ppl thought the story was okay, but to me...it actually didn't make any sense. I was just...bored and I wanted to do something. I don't wanna throw it away, so...I just put it on the site. Maybe someone out there will like it. Who knows? THE FAIR was written in the middle of '00...never revised. It took me a few days to write this story. I was at a fair when I came up with the idea.

NOT FARE!

(*CHAPTER 2*)

            “Mom why do we have to move all of a sudden? I’m tired of moving from one place to another”, I whined.

            “We’re moving today and that’s final. I’m sure you’ll love the neighborhood, and this will be your chance to meet better people, then your so-called friends back at school. Okay?” my mother rubbed me on the back. “Now you guys get your things put in the car so we could leave”. She walked off to her bedroom.

            “I hope she’s sure about this neighborhood”. My sister Kim complained.

            “Guys just cool it. Why don’t you give mom a chance. She’s doing a great job raising 5 kids by herself so you should give her credit for that”. My big sister Kathy said as she walked out of the room with her suitcases.

            “I don’t know. Maybe she’s right. I mean… we are lucky to have a mother at all who’s taking good care of us”. My sister Nancy added. “I mean we take care of ourselves too”.

            “You guys ready?” mom asked.

            “YEAH!” my other sister Samantha yelled. She was the only one happy about this move. “I hope we meet some cute guys up there”. She said as we all left the room.

            “WHAT WAS THAT?” mother asked from downstairs.

            Samantha paused. “OH, NOTHING MOM”. We all giggled.

            We were now out of the house, loading up in the van. This was the last of our furniture. Mother and her friends already moved the big furniture in the house. All we had to do was bring our clothes, and other little items.

*~*~*~*~*

ON THE ROAD

            We were now driving for 2 hours straight and I really needed to use the restroom. Everytime I tell my mother could we stop by a restaurant so I could take a leak she always says: ‘We’re almost there dear’ and now an hour passed and it doesn’t look like we’re any close. So I asked her one more time. “MOM COULD I TAKE A LEAK SOMEWHERE? FOR THE 3RD TIME”.

            “Honey just wait a few more minutes and we’re there”.

            See what I told you. Now this will make it the fourth time she said that. I guess I’ll just listen to my C.D. player to get it off of my mind.

~~~~~~~
            I was listening to my C.D. player when we finally stopped, for the first time in 2hrs. I looked up. “OH MY GOD!”
