Inside information: Oh lord...now I can admit that this one the worse story I have ever wrote. I don't know what I was thinking. I was too bored. That's what it was. Well...a few ppl thought the story was okay, but to me...it actually didn't make any sense. I was just...bored and I wanted to do something. I don't wanna throw it away, so...I just put it on the site. Maybe someone out there will like it. Who knows? THE FAIR was written in the middle of '00...never revised. It took me a few days to write this story. I was at a fair when I came up with the idea.

MAGICAL VILLAGE (PART 2)

(CHAPTER 9)

His eyes widened. “What? What do you…”

“Look I know you’re probably thinking, how can I fall in love with somebody and I’ve only known them for 3 days, but there is nowhere in the law that it says you have to know somebody for a long time in order to fall in love with them. Right?”

“Yeah, but are you sure this is not like a crush or something?”

“NO. look, I’m21 years old. How do I look like having a crush. I am so out of that level right now”.

He paused for a moment. “I don’t know…what to say. I…”

“I understand. You don’t love me”. I crossed my arms and sat further back in the chair. I could feel water building up in my eyes.

“I’m sorry. Rolanda, but it’s just…I don’t feel the same way about you. I like you and everything. You’re a wonderful, nice person, but…”

“Look, I understand. It’s okay”. I turned to the side so he wouldn’t see my face. I tried to change the subject.

“So…” I wiped my tears away before I faced him. “…I wonder what the others are doing”. I sat up straight.

“Ah. You sure you’re okay?”

“YES, GOD DAMNIT. HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU? GOSH!”

“Okay. I’m sorry” he tried to rub my back for comfort, but I pushed his hand away.

“Don’t fucking touch me. God when is this ride going to be over?” suddenly we appeared in light and the boats stopped. “Thank God”. I stepped out of the boat to the pavement. I started speed walking.

“LANDA. WAIT. WAIT” he caught up to me and turned me around. “LISTEN…”

“You OBVIOUSLY DON’T WANT ME SO I COULD HELP YOU ON THAT”.

“I didn’t SAY I DON’T WANT YOU”.

“Well you meant to say it, but in a different way”. He was holding onto both of my arms.

“LOOK I DON’T WANT YOU” I released from his grip and walked away. “I NEED YOU. LANDA I’M IN LOVE WITH YOU TOO”.
