Inside information: Oh lord...now I can admit that this one the worse story I have ever wrote. I don't know what I was thinking. I was too bored. That's what it was. Well...a few ppl thought the story was okay, but to me...it actually didn't make any sense. I was just...bored and I wanted to do something. I don't wanna throw it away, so...I just put it on the site. Maybe someone out there will like it. Who knows? THE FAIR was written in the middle of '00...never revised. It took me a few days to write this story. I was at a fair when I came up with the idea.

MAGICAL VILLAGE

(CHAPTER 8)

You could see hundreds of people there. It was unbelievable because we didn’t see anybody in the neighborhood but the fair that was in the neighborhood had people there.

“How come we didn’t see this the other day…” I said as I got out of the car. “…we drove right by here and didn’t see a fair”. I walked up to Justin and held hands as we approached the ticket booth. We could hear series of cries, and screams as we got closer to the booth.

“May I help you?” a cocasion lady at the ticket booth asked. I took my money out of my pocket and was about to hand her a ten dollar bill.

“No, Rolanda. I’ll pay for us. You just put your money away. I GOT THIS”. He smiled at me. He was so sweet and kind. After we all paid for our tickets we walked in the fair area. We got to this lady who was standing by a station.

“WELCOME TO MAGICAL VILLAGE!” She yelled. I just returned a smile and kept walking.

“We’re gonna split up. So we’ll meet you guys right at the ticket booth in about 3hrs”. Justin said as he guided me into the crowd of people.

“It’s so crowded. I wonder why it’s not like this in our neighborhood”.

“I don’t know and I don’t care. All I care about me and you getting on that love boat ride”. He pointed to it and took me there. “Damn. This ride takes 4 tickets, and we only bought 100”.

“So that’s enough. Let’s go” he smiled as he gave the man 8 tickets.

“Could I ask you something? What’s your name”

“Jose” the employer said.

“Okay. So Jose do you stay in LOVELYVILLE?” the man’s eyes widened.

“How dare YOU SAY THAT NAME? YOU’RE A CURSE, YOU’RE A CURSE. NOBODY SAYS THAT NAME AROUND HERE”.

“Damn. What’s the big deal any ways. I was just asking. Gosh…” we sat on a boat and waited for it to start. “…how come people act so weird around here? All I asked was do he live in LOVELYVILLE and he tries to curse me out for that”.

“Just ignore him and let’s enjoy the rides like we came here to do”. He held my hand and rubbed it lightly with his thumb.

“OOH. They just make me so SICK” he rubbed my arm

“SHH! Don’t worry. It’ll be fine. I promise” he kissed me on the lips.

“MMM. That felt good. Do it again”. He kissed me again, but longer this time.

“You liked that one?” he whispered softly.

“I loved it” I chuckled and wrapped my arms around him. “MMM this feels good. Just what I needed. A slow and quiet ride”.

“Yeah” he said as he kissed me on the forehead. He whispered something in my ear.

“YEEW! Justin. You are a nasty boy. But I like ‘em like that”. I said as I rested my head on his chest. “You know, you are the…” I fiddled with his fingers. “…first boy…what am I saying? I meant the first guy who I ever gotten this close to”.

“Oh really. So is that like a sign or something?”

“Justin I think I’m falling in love with you”
